... really caring for the skin. I found that a subtle smell of lavender lasted on my skin for hours and hours after I had used this soap. The soap lathered pretty well and did not dissolve too much in the water - though Lush soaps tend to dissolve quicker than other brands. It is about £2.70 for 100g of this soap. I would treat yourself to a nice big slab of it. It is divine. I'm not looking forward to mine running out. Hope it lasts until the end of winter to cheer me up!...more

Premium Review Lush Soap Sod: Green Cuttings in a Soap (238 words)

Lush Soap Sod is a bizarre soap. It is one of my favourites - there is something about it that I love - it reminds me of summer. It is a really vibrant green colour, which is instantly appealing. It also means that it stands out against a lot of the more girly and feminine soaps that Lush sell. It is meant to smell of freshly mowed meadows. Now don't get me wrong, there is no way that I imagined I was in a meadow when I used this soap, but it really did remind me of summer. There was a smell a little like freshly cut grass - you know that lovely summer evening smell - always reminds me of hot weather and long holidays from school! There is ...  Read the complete review

Oooooo now this is a tricky one! I bought this soap before it was discontinued in the stores because I thought it looked pretty!! However as I have said before in my reviews the smell in the Lush store kinda over powers individual soaps so you can't smell a soap and get its true scent. I proudly carried my new purchase home and was looking forward to using it that evening. I have found with most Lush soaps that they have a tendenancy to melt easily so I cut this up into big enough pieces and put the others away in a dry space so they would not be in the damp atmosphere. Now I was expecting a lovely fresh garden smell or as Lush says an ...  Read the complete review

One of the latest additions to my Lush soap collection is soap Sod. It is not a soap I would have considered buying from Lush because it is part of the Retro range and is only available on the website. Orders from the Lush website have a delivery charge of £3.95 so I do not usually use it. I try to get Retro Lush from other Lush lovers on the Lush forum and when someone has this available to sell or swap, I swapped it for some of my unloved Lush bits. Soap Sod is an unusual soap, it does not look like anything special, it is a turquoise green colour and has dried flowers across the top. My Soap Sod does not look like the one in the Dooyoo photo, it is not as ...  Read the complete review
