... it's summer outside even if it's snowing! If you buy a chunk and take it home you'll have people sniffing you on the bus and thinking to themselves ''My,they've been baking lovely buns or cakes or something!''. Once you run a bath or stand under the shower and rub a small piece onto wet skin, the scent of ginger will become a little more apparent. You'll feel as if you're surrounded by a giant,fluffy,toasty-hot blanket in the back room of a bakery! It warms and envelopes you in it's lovely scent. It lathers fair...more

Crowned Review Lush Spice Curls Soap: The spice of life! (947 words)

When my daughter came back from shopping the other day she handed me a small bag of Lush goodies that she'd chosen for me as a thank you for watching my granddaughters' while she was out. One of the items she'd picked out was a lovely looking brick red coloured bar of soap called Spice Curls. I needed soap at the time so decided to use this one instead of the bar of Dove I had ready to be unwrapped. As soon as I opened the little bag containing Spice Curls I was aware of the very strong scent of this soap, it put me in mind of Old Spice aftershave a little although the smell itself is not the same but reminiscent. It has a very spicy aroma which ...  Read the complete review

Well seeing that I have been really naughty and neglected dooyoo for a fair few months. I thought I had better get back to doing a few review as I have missed it and hoping to find more time to write and read all these good reviews. What better way to get into the swing of things than to write a review on a lush product? I am a mega lush fan and have been trying a lot of different products this month and my favorite to date was deffo this one. Spice curls soap has been out for a far few months but I have never seen it before. I was on holiday in Cornwall and decided to have a quick look in their local lush shop and thats when the small ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Spice Curls Soap: If you wanna be a spice curl... (493 words)

Spice Curls soap is made by Lush who produce hand made products using natural ingredients. This particular soap seems to mainly be aimed at the ladies although I would definitely call this soap a unisex soap and my other half has no qualms about using this is I leave it in the bathroom or by the shower. The price is £2.69 per 100g (as of June 2009) and this is quite a reasonable price for the product that you receive. As all Lush soaps are produced in large blocks and then cut down to smaller sizes in store you may find that you will get just under or just over 100g and the price will be adjusted accordingly. Also, because of being cut from a block ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review yuck (313 words)

I received this Lush soap as a present from a friend as part of a gift bag she got me from Lush. I must say, when I first saw and smelt this soap, I wasn't too impressed. It's a very bright soap in a terracotta type of orange colour and the scent was very strong and spicy... Not something I'd go for and I definitely wouldn't have bought this for myself. It's available for £2.69 from Lush online and in their shops. I'm not really a soap person as I've got quite sensitive skin and I often find soaps too drying for my skin. Since I usually go for soft scents like flowers, fruit or sweet dessert smells, I didn't like this one when I first smelt it. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Spice Curls Soap: Far too spicy for me! (610 words)

I have so many Lush soaps it's ridiculous. I don't even like soap that much I prefer shower gel and hand wash, but there's something about a Lush soap I can't resist! Spice Curls though, isn't actually a Lush soap I would have purchased for myself. I had smelled it in the shop and thought it was far too spicy and strong for my tastes, as I tend to like either fruity or floral scents. I did however receive a half-sized (50g) bar with an online order a few months ago. At first I didn't use it because I wasn't keen on the smell, but I then decided to give it a go because I'm not planning on buying any more soaps for a while, and wanted to get this one out of the way - ...  Read the complete review

It works as a soap It is drying, does not bubble well, hardly any scent.............

Looks so relaxing, smells so exotic, scent lasts, softens skin It doesn't suit being a shower jelly. The smell if you don't like coconut

Raising money for a cause None

Bubbles last ages and water is very soft. Is more floral that I would have liked.

Can't think of any Price

Smells delicious. Has an astringent effect and doesn't lather much.
