Advantages: Looks really cute before and after it fizzes away

Disadvantages: Smells too flowery for me

So as I wait for my bath to fill up I have the tough choice of which Lush product to use. I am a lucky girl who seems to always get a gift set for some sort of occassion, so I have aquired quite a collection.

The one to catch my eye is the Stardust Bath Ballistic, its pink with a blue shooting star on top and lots of little pink confetti stars scattered about. When you first drop it into the bath it fizzes about leaving a pink trail, and making a satisfying hissing sound. Once its all dissolved the bath had turned a nice pink shade with a scattering of stars on the bottom of the bath.

I am addicted to any pink products from the Lush range as they tend to have candy scents, however this one seemed to be more floral smelling which whilst nice didnt intice me into my bath as much as other smells would have. I did love the sprinkling of stars in my pink bath though, and I would presume for those who have kids this would be a good way to persuade them to bathe, but I dont so I got to enjoy it all to myself.

My favourite thing about Lush products is how they manage to fill the bathroom with its scent and can create a relaxing atmosphere. The only downside would be the pink scum left around the bath.

Now comes the not so relaxing part of the ballistic...the price! £3.18 EAK!!!!! Lucky for me I get them bought for me!

Although I enjoyed my bath, if I was paying it wouldnt be my first choice as the scent let it down slightly.

The Lush website describes it as :

Inspired by Neil Gaiman's beautiful book, our soothing, plum pink Stardust smells of enchanting violets and uplifting bergamot.
Stardust by Neil Gaiman tells the modern day fairy tale for grown ups of a northern English village called Wall in early Victorian times. Wall is a secret entrance to Faerie. The hero Tristan, is trying to win the heart of frosty young lady named Victoria. She sends him over the Wall on a quest for a falling star. For our Stardust Ballistic, we wondered what the "shooting star" would smell like when he caught it. Her skin, the delicate flowers, the magic surrounding her and the way she shimmers when she's happy - captured in the fragrance of everlasting flower, bergamot and violets.

Summary: One of the nicer looking ballistics
