Advantages: Smells lovely, really soothing scent, good amount of bubbles that last
Disadvantages: Needs keeping away from water when storing - not really an issue though
This is my absolute favourite Lush product!
I'm normally more of a chocolate or vanilla bath scent person and fruity bath smells didn't really appeal to me. When I was looking at the bath bars in Lush a few months ago I choose this one for two reasons - one was that it was good value at £3.20 for a piece bigger that my iphone and also because it has constantly come up as a universal favourite among Lush fans.
I am a bath addict. I use this in my bath every other day and break off about a £2 coin sized amount to add to the bath water. It creates lots of bubbles (especially if you put your finger under the tap and spray it at the water - which is what I do to make my bubble bath go further) and a bar of The Comforter lasts me about a month.
The water turns a slightly pink colour which adds a bit of interest, and the bubbles smell really strongly of blackberry. After a hard day I find that the scent now automatically chills me out and is incredibly comforting which I would never have associated blackberry with personally.
The bubbles last a reasonable amount of time and although the scent doesn't linger as much like it does with other Lush products, the experience is incredibly soothing. I don't use any other bubble bath at the moment and am finding that the bottled ones from other companies just seem to smell a bit synthetic after trying this. I keep mine wrapped in the paper bag and as long as it is kept away from water it stores well as well!
Summary: My favourite favourite from Lush!
