I found her an alternative and was then cornered by a shop assistant who noticed my (frankly enormous) pregnant belly and suggested I try one of their massage bars. Apparently they sell a lot of these to pregnant women as the oils are safe during pregnancy and cocoa butter is very good for stretchmarks. It is not solely for pregnant women though, the blurb says : ""This bar is to clam you down, when you are feeling stressed out, or have your "knickers in twist&quo...more

Premium Review Lush Therapy Massage Bar: Ask Me Why I'm Naked.... (1740 words)

Ask Me Why I’m Naked… Lush Therapy Massage Bar The Guilty Shopping Trip This afternoon Himself came back from a jaunt into town to find a new job, having become unemployed at approximately 17.10hrs yesterday afternoon. Perhaps to cheer my face up, or maybe because he’s a bit sick of all the citrusy scented products I’ve become addicted to during the past 8 months or so (a strange sort of aroma-craving!), he sat down on the bed next to me where I was having my pre-baby afternoon nap (I’ll miss those when they’re gone!) and put what felt like a small oval tin into my waiting palms. With my eyes closed I went into Braille mode to try ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Therapy - a chance to feel great 24/7 (1051 words)

I admit it, I took a break from Lush for around a month. I was spending WAY too much money in that shop, and after a week, would have not much left to show for it. So I took a break for a month and saved all of the money I would have spent in Lush that week in a jar. How did I know what money I would have spent that week? Because I'm a weirdo who makes Lush shopping lists every sunday, so I knew exactly what I'd spend that week. Exactly one month later (monday 22nd june), I had just over £119 in my little jar. Not only did I realize that I'm a huge spender, but I realized that I deserved a treat for being so good, so off to Lush it was! I bought 5 things, one ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Therapy Massage Bar: I admit it...I need therapy! (685 words)

I am a huge fan of massage bars and I have tried what seems to be hundreds! I'm always interested in the new one which is brought out and even ones you can get on EBay which are no longer available anywhere! And of course I do have my usual Lush massage bars which I buy time and time again but it's always nice to try something different! This chunk of solid body butter has recently become my favorite bar softening item (for now. One doesn't become a reviewer without being promiscuous when it comes to products). Therapy bar is a very standard cream colour, there is nothing particularly eye catching, it's not covered in glitter and sparkles but please don't let ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review refreshing and relaxing massage bar (423 words)

I was recommended this Lush therapy massage bar by one of the sales ladies at the shop. I liked the fact that you get a free tin when you buy two massage bars and this particular one was £4.84. This might seem like a lot but mine has lasted me ages now and I use it all the time so I think it's worth the money. Lush make all their cosmetics fresh and by hand. They use fresh ingredients and try and use as little preservatives as possible. This is what I like about their products. I've got very sensitive skin and often find that heavily perfumed or products with too many chemicals will easily irritate my skin. I haven't had this problem with Lush and in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Therapy Massage Bar: Smells scrummy! (232 words)

I would never have bought this for myself as massage isn't really my thing unless a professional is doing it. But while shopping in Lush for bath products it came as a freebie which was lovely! This incidently of which i talk about is the Lush Therapy massage bar. It is a creamy yellow colour quite solid but starts to melt a little when in contact with the warmth of your skin which makes it ideal for massage! Its ingredients are mainly shea butter, cocoa butter, orange oil and lavender oil, although personally I cannot smell the lavender which I think is a good thing as I can't stand the smell of that! The scent is absolutely delicious though and I ...  Read the complete review
