Anyway, back to the Emotibomb. This is for the day after you got too drunk It has essential oils of peppermint, marigold, fennel and reviving sweet orange to refresh you, wake you up gently, soothe a sore head and slowly bring you back to life.

... the steam and fill the shower with a lovely smell, whilst coating your skin in good essential oils. Unfortunatly the Too Drunk emotibomb does no such thing. For starters it looks horrible - the face is quite amusing but I don't understand why it is a horrible brown colour. Then there is the smell, which is equally as horrible. I am not sure what the scent was supposed to achieve but it made me feel ill and I wasn't even hung over! It is frangranced with peppermint, tagetes, sweet orange and fennel oil, which creates...more

Premium Review Lush Too Drunk Emotibomb: What a waste of money! (537 words)

I agree that Lush are generally overpriced but I still use them as I find they are extremely kind to my skin, effective and a pleasure to use. Even those which don't moisturise well still smell nice and I don't really mind paying for that on occasion when I want to treat myself, Lush is an ethical and truly excellent brand who are completely entitled in my opinion to charge a premium for their luxurious products. The problem is I feel cheated at the moment as I have just tried the Too Drunk Emotibomb and cannot see the point of this product at all. An Emotibomb is similar to a bath ballistic, only you place it on the floor when you're showering instead of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Money down the drain! (547 words)

The one thing I think I have missed more than any other since moving into our new house is being able to have a long soak in the bath. There is nothing more relaxing after a long day than running a really hot bath, breaking in a Lush bubble bar and slipping into a bath full of bubbles. Sadly we don't have a bath anymore, only a shower, so I was interested when I first saw Lush's Emotibomb range - like bath bombs but to use in the shower. I was lucky to receive this as a thoughtful Christmas present from someone who knew my bath/shower dilemma - I do tend to receive lots of bath related products as presents which does tend to rub it in somewhat! The idea is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Too Drunk Emotibomb: pointless and odd looking shower fizzer (261 words)
by - written on 03/03/09 (Very useful, 148 readings)

This Lush emotibomb is available from their shops and online for £1.95. It's like the bath bombs but meant for the shower and this particular one is made for hangovers and the essential oils are meant to take your bad feelings away and wake you up. Now, I didn't use this when I had a hangover but I'm sure that even with one, it wouldn't have made me feel any better as the scent was quite gross in my opinion so it might have even made my hangover worse. I got this as a gift from a friend and I personally would not have bought this as I just don't see the point in them. So now that I've actually got the chance to try one, I must say that my initial ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Too drunk! (311 words)

We have just had a new shower fitted and although I am more of a bath person I wanted to try it out. I saw these Emotibombs in Lush and thought it would be a nice way to make a shower a nicer experience. As the party season as just ended I thought I would try out the Too drunk Emotibomb. You use the bar by breaking pieces off (if you are being economical) and placing the bomb on the floor of the shower. As the hot water hits the bar it fizzes and allows a lovely fragrance to come up into the shower. The Too Drunk Emotibomb is described as 'hangover relief for the shower'. I found that the smell was not quite as strong as I have experienced with the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Too Drunk Emotibomb: A nice idea (279 words)

After reading the lush times I kept being drawn to the emotibombs that Lush were selling, I was unsure if I really wanted to waste my money on getting something that wasn't even going to be used on my skin, but I couldn't help but be intrigued. I went along to my local shop and the shop assistant told me how great they are and how good they make you feel so I thought what the hell I will try one. The next morning I stubled into the shower, I let it run for a while first to make the bathroom a bit misty as apparently the scent lifts up in the mist and creates a misty scent around you! So I got in the shower and put the bomb mid way in the ...  Read the complete review
