When you retire or win the lottery, you can look forward to having a nice lie in every day but in the meantime if you are one of those people who has to force themselves out of bed every morning then turn up to work looking bright and cheerful, then Up You Gets is the answer to your prayers. (Except that it can`t actually give you the winning lottery numbers.)

... 5am to catch the train to get to an interview. February is a drab month at the best of times, but when you get up and it's pitch black it's even worse! Still half asleep, I lobbed the Emotibomb in the shower. Sure enough it dissolved and the fresh scent wafted up. I should say that at the time I had one of those standalone shower cubicles, and the enclosed space I am sure helped the smell to waft up. I did feel more refreshed after using this. It's not something you could use everyday - I'm not sure how much they ar...more

Crowned Review Lush Up You Get Emotibomb: Getting all Emo in the Shower (676 words)

Back when ballistics (fizzing, foaming balls to throw into the bath to scent and soften the water) were Lush's mainstay, I remember them saying in their publicity that Baths were for those who appreciate luxury, and showers for the spartans amongst us. Since then Lush have broadened their market and produce a huge range of toiletries. I think Emotibombs are Lush's attempt to draw in the confirmed shower-ers amongst us. There is nothing quite like a Lush bath (don't even get me started on some of their poor imitators...), but there are plenty of decent shower gels on the market to compete with the lovely ones produced by Lush, so they've had to try to replicate the 'Lush ...  Read the complete review

For those who don't know how to use these then here's a brief explanation...When in the shower pop one of these on the floor so that the water hits it and it begins to fizz, this will lift a lush smell into the air to wake you up and make the room smell lovely. These are one of my favourite Lush products and you'll see why when I start to tell you about it. First off the Lush up you get emotibomb is meant to be a fizzy bomb for the shower in the morning to wake up with. It's said to be for 'people who have to force themselves out of bed every morning and then after using one of these are bright eyed and cheerful). But of course you can use this whenever you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Up You Get Emotibomb: Get yourself up, 'cos this won't help! (552 words)

Life is tough when you're lazy. Well, it's not really, but getting up in the morning is definitely a struggle when you're as lazy as me. Being a student definitely doesn't help, as if I go to bed early so that I've had enough sleep when I have to get up for 9.15 lectures, I miss out on socialising and having fun with my friends in halls. I usually end up staying up until about 3 o'clock in the morning, and then it's usually impossible to get up at half past eight for a class. Missing a few classes every week isn't really a good idea, so I decided to look for some ways to help me get up without looking like a zombie. When I found out about Lush's new Up You Gets ...  Read the complete review

My uncle and aunt bought me, my mum and my sister a gift set of Lush stuff each for Christmas. Mine was yellow-wrapped and smelt all citrussy, so I was looking forward to Christmas and getting some bath stuff - I can't afford to buy any luxury stuff, so it's a good thing I got lots! The set included this Lush Up You Get Emotibomb - though I have to say I've only just found out what it is! I guess the gift sets are aimed at hardcore Lush fans, because the only clue I got as to what the box contained was a tiny sticker on the bottom listing the names, of which process of elimination told me it was called 'Up You Gets'. That's the interesting thing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Up You Get Emotibomb: Up You Get Wont Get You Up Any Easier (790 words)

** Product ** Earlier this year, Lush brought out a new range of Emotibombs. The purpose of these, I believe, was to create a Bath Ballistic for in the shower. The aim being to create a gorgeous smell in your bathroom when showering, you know, the one you usually get when you take a Lush bath. Lush created four Emotibombs - Sex in the Shower, Too Drunk, Up the Wooden Hill and Up You Get. I have tried two of the four and this review will be based on the Up You Get emotibomb in particular. Each of the Emotibombs has a different use depending on the scent and Up You Get is, as the name would suggest, an emotibomb designed to help wake you up in the ...  Read the complete review
