Too much like Heavenilli for me! (Lush Vanilla Dee Lite Body Lotion)

Advantages: Moisturises well and is a nice consistency

Disadvantages: too strong

I bought this body lotion as I like to have a whiff of scent around me during the day and I had heard it was a lighter smelling version of the massage bar Heavenilli which although I like I find too strong.

The Lush website says that it is filled with oils, coconut water and butters plus has the scent of vanilla mountain (vanilla fountains big sister!)

So with the promise of all that I got myself a bottle of the stuff from the Lush forum at a slightly cheaper price (about 50p cheaper!) however from the website or store it will cost you £10.50.

So on first feel this lotion is lovely and thick. It isn't a butter and not greasey but it is still is a nice luxurious consistency. Colourwise it is an off white with maybe a tint of beige to it. The smell is indeed a lot like heavenilli and I must confess on first sniff a little too much like it for me personally. I wish it was a bit lighter and less smokey. However throughout the day I would say you lose most of that smokey scent.

Most importantly though- does it moisturise? Very well I think, it does the job nicely! Will I be buying it again- no, it's too strong for me. However if you love Heavenilli then you really must rush and buy yourself some of this as you will love it!

Summary: Not the lotion for me!
