When it comes to my bath times there is one thing that really fills me with joy and that's if I have something from Lush to pop in my bath! They're not something I use regularly due to the price of them so I use them on 'special occasions' or when I really feel like I deserve a little treat. Last week was one of them days. I'd gone to town to meet my mate for lunch, it was raining and he turned up late and so before I met him to try cheer myself up I purchased this and some soaps and stuff thinking that later on that day I'd have myself a gorgeous bath! Yep it had the desired effect after purchasing the stuff. I felt very happy though my purse was a damn sight lighter ... Read the complete review

Amongst the new offerings from Lush nestles this, the Vanilla Fountain bath ballistic. Unlike the usual bath 'bomb', this one isn't spherical, but more of a pudding shape (see pic above) - which makes it more of a 'bombe' (pudding) than 'bomb', right! Yeah, I know - cooking puns die a sudden death, but hopefully my title now makes sense! I'm not usually much of a ballistic fan (I prefer the bubble bar slices) but the simplicity of this (read: no horrible bits to float about your bath!), plus the description - "Comforting vanilla... with a touch of restful sandalwood and a note of burnt caramel" - was enough incentive to at least try it. And reader: I ... Read the complete review

This gorgeous little bath ballistic from Lush is one of my favourite's. Inspired by the extraordinary deserts at Heston Blumental's restuarant, The Fat Duck at Bray, it really does look good enough to eat! It's a beautiful soft and creamy vanilla scent which is very comforting, it also has a touch of sandalwood, exotic Tonka Bean, seductive Jasmine and a note of burnt caramel, which is my opinion makes all the difference. Instead of being just yet another sweet smelling vanilla smell, the note of burnt caramel adds a grown up sophistication to it. Unlike alot of the ballistic's the scent stayed true in the bath water and didn't fade into ... Read the complete review

Nothing quite beats a long soak in the bath and when I was preparing for an evening performance of a recent show I was singing in, I knew exactly what would relax me and put me in the right frame of mind - a long soak in the bath filled with the lovely scent of vanilla. Those of you who read my reviews regularly will know what a massive vanilla fan I am, and I'd been waiting ages to try out the vanilla fountain which had been given to me as a present. This is one of Lush's ballistics, and includes vanilla absolute, sandalwood, burnt caramel and even a real vanilla pod poking out of the top! Apparently the Vanilla Fountain came about after two Lush designers ... Read the complete review

I am a massive fan of the smell of Vanilla so when Lush released these Bath Ballistics I was in my element. I saw this in my local Lush and was drawn to it, mainly because it was new and I knew I hadn't tried it. The design of this ballistic is quite different to the standard ball shaped ballistics that Lush offer us. It's a stumpy conical shape, which doesn't exactly describe it well. I'd advise having a look at the picture Ciao have, as it's identical to what I bought. Its creamy yellow in colour, the shades vary, I have bought some that are quite bright and some that are very pale in comparison, this is obviously because Lush makes things are ...
