Advantages: Smells gorgeous, smell lingers on both your skin and in your house.

Disadvantages: Leaves yellow tidemark around the bath.

This gorgeous little bath ballistic from Lush is one of my favourite's. Inspired by the extraordinary deserts at Heston Blumental's restuarant, The Fat Duck at Bray, it really does look good enough to eat!

It's a beautiful soft and creamy vanilla scent which is very comforting, it also has a touch of sandalwood, exotic Tonka Bean, seductive Jasmine and a note of burnt caramel, which is my opinion makes all the difference. Instead of being just yet another sweet smelling vanilla smell, the note of burnt caramel adds a grown up sophistication to it.

Unlike alot of the ballistic's the scent stayed true in the bath water and didn't fade into nothingness lingering long after your bath on both your skin and throughout the whole house. Even before these are used in your bath, they fill your bathroom with it's wonderful scent!

It turns the water a calming milky yellow colour and this is yet another ballisitic that is kind and gentle on your skin, making it feel so smooth and soft, making it a really luxurious soak.

As you'd expect, this leaves a yellow tide mark around the bath, so it does require abit of scrubbing when you get out, abit of a pain but well worth it as it's so yummy!

A tip is to remove the vanilla pod sticking out of the top before dropping it into your bath, it serves no real purpose and just floats about aimlessly.

I give this a full 5 stars, I could take a star off for the yellow tidemark it leaves round your bath after use, but this is to be expected and can't really be helped, and if you are a lover of ballistic's, it something you have to learn to live with, either that or don't use them....but that would be a shame!
