Lush Vanilla in the Mist Soap

I tried this soap for the first time when I got it as a sample. I wasn't too sure about this when I smelt it in the shop and when I tried it for the first time I must admit that I didn't really like it. However, after having used it a couple more times and using it alongside some of my favourite Lush vanilla scented lotions and fragrances, I've actually grown to love this soap and have gone back to buy a full size bar! Vanilla in the Mist is a new soap from Lush, the maker of fresh handmade soaps and other delicious smelling personal cleansing products. For the uninitiated, Lush products avoid the use of palm oil, the production of which is putting Indonesian forests at risk. Lush products are also cruelty free, use minimal packaging or come in returnable containers which are re-used. Initally I was not sure about buying this soap as I find both the vanilla massage and lotion too strong smelling which I think is down to the tonka. However I heard a fair few comments from people that this was different and it smelt more like a vanilla latte. Now this also worried me as although I like the smell of coffee I can't stand it if its at all artificial or overpowering. I wanted to try this from the second I heard about it - the name just got me,as I love ''Gorrillas In The Mist'' and obviously the similarities of the name made me go ''Ooh!''. I went into Lush,grabbed a chunk,then sat on the hour long bus journey home with the bag stuck to my face. It smells so strongly of vanilla and coffee (two of my FAVOURITE scents in the world) and I couldn't stop sniffing! I got home,ran a bath as quickly as I could,got in and began to rub-a-dub-dub.
