The idea of a 'foot mask' intrigued me as I am one of those unfortunate people who suffer from smelly feet. When I saw this I just had to buy it. The product comes in a 75g standard black Lush tub and costs just under £7.

I decided to give it a try this morning, having nothing better to do on the bank holiday! When I opened the pot I was a bit overpowered by the unexpected smell: it didn't smell flowery and sweet like many Lush products but it did smell quite strongly of cinnamon with a hint of tomato. However once I'd got used to the smell I began to quite like it, as it is very fresh, and anyway, anything is better than the smell of sweaty feet!

Following the instructions, I plastered the mask on my feet, covered them in cling film and sat in the bath for ten minutes reading a book. The mask was thick and gritty but went on quite easily. Towards the end of the ten minutes my feet began to feel quite tingly, in a pleasant way. I rubbed the mask into my feet and rinsed them in the shower.

I immediately noticed that the skin on my feet was a lot softer and smoother. I suffer from sensitive skin but the mask produced no adverse reaction at all. The main thing I noticed, however, was how clean my feet felt. Even though I scrub them in the shower, sometimes twice a day, they never felt thoroughly 'clean'. This mask claims to 'deep cleanse' your feet and I feel that this claim is true. I honestly feel as though the clays and other ingredients have 'drawn out' all the dirt and smell - it sounds daft but it's true! I didn't apply any moisturiser to my feet as I usually do as I wanted to preserve the tingly feeling on my feet for as long as possible.

My feet have never felt so clean and they don't smell any more - only time will tell how long this effect will last. Based on my experiences I will definitely be buying this mask again, even though it's a bit pricey!
