... Party bomb, which retails for £2.80. Now, I already think these are quite dear. Three quid would buy you a whole tub of bubble bath which would last weeks. I think the bombs could come could down a pound in price. It is a startling orange colour and has little coloured stars flecked on it. The bomb has a fruity smell, oranges and limes seem to be the overpowering smell here. It is best used if you want to indulge with a loved one before an evening of romance. I would not advise using it just before going into work as t...more

Crowned Review Lush Christmas Party Bath Ballistic: Where's the party???? (1801 words)

When I'm feeling down in the dumps there is always one thing that cheers me up as a rule. It's something usually from Lush. I say usually because that hasn't always been the case of late to be honest with you. I don't say this lightly as I have been a huge fan of the store for years but lately I've been rather disappointed at a few products I've thrown money at and wasted or that my lovely Mummy has bought for me. I don't know about anyone else on here but I've noticed a real quality slip in about the past 4 years and it's really affected me buying stuff. At one time I would positively get into debt for the stuff. I simply wasn't safe even walking past a store ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Worst. Lush. Ever. (1559 words)

Dear Dooyoo'er, Are you pondering some last minute Christmas shopping - thinking that Lush, open 'til 8pm, is a perfect choice for some top notch smellies? Or perhaps, oh fellow opinionator, you're expecting - or indeed, already detecting the not-so-subtle aroma from under your tree, even through the wrapping! - a few Lush goodies to come your way from Santa? Well, some advice: if you're in the former group - don't buy the Christmas Party ballistic! (see my Lush Xmas overview, below, for some better suggestions!). And if you're in the recipient category - commiserations, and for goodness sake use a sieve!! My own situation is of course ...  Read the complete review

Again, I'm not going to mention Marmite - but oh dear I was very surprised to see how opinion is divided about this product on Dooyoo! In the final analysis, it looks like you'll have to make up your own mind, but here is my twopenneth to add to the debate! I received this bath ball as part of a 'Twelve Days of Christmas' gift box (which does mean you can expect a lot more Lush reviews in the coming days, yes) and decided to use it on Christmas morning for a festive bath, but this is a product that has been produced for some time and I have used it before several times in the past. Although it is called 'Christmas Party' and as such I guess is designed to be ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Christmas Party - never again! (753 words)

Let me start this off by saying that in general I'm a big fan of Lush - I love that they try to use natural ingredients as much as possible, absolutely don't do animal testing, and the luxurious feel that their products give me. So it doesn't happen very often that I don't like a Lush product in the first place, and it's very rare I'd actually advise people not to try it at all. Furthermore, I'm also a confessed glitter addict, and love their glitter ballistics like Fairy Jasmine. So, when I went on a massive Lush-buying spree before Christmas a year ago, I immediately bagged one of these, as the description said it contained not only normal glitter, but also ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Christmas Party Bath Ballistic: Are plastic floaty bits environmentally friendly? (605 words)

I am a newbie regarding Lush products but after reading several reviews on Dooyoo I decided it was time to dip my toe in the water, so to speak, and when asked by the HonestBoblets what I would like for Christmas I asked for 'something from Lush'. They duly answered my Christmas wish and biggest HonestBob took the crew to the Lush shop in Warrington. Not her favourite place as she finds the smell of the shop overpoweringly sickly, but still she took them. One of their purchases was this Lush Christmas Party Bath Ballistic. I've given up all hope of enjoying an undisturbed bath (see ma bar review for an explanation) so this morning I ran myself and ...  Read the complete review
