... bath melt also contains a small amount of lemongrass so the smell was really nice and citrusy rather than a strong mango smell. Anyway I enjoyed my warm, relaxing bath and, as I said earlier, the water did feel lovely and silky which in turn meant that my skin felt moisturised after I had finished my ablutions. One of the main things that I love about most Lush products is the fact that the whole bathroom is filled with the fragrance of the product whilst it is being used and that fragrance lasts in the air for ages ...more

Crowned Review Lush You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt: Im feeling fruity, so i've got my Mangoes out!! (1352 words)

A nice steaming hot bath, a good book and a glass of wine… a perfect night in and one of the best ways to relax (well unless someone is going to offer me a body massage) but there is just one thing missing… a Lush product! Since becoming a Lush addicted and slowly working my way through the shop I have become rather faithful to Lush and hardly ever use anything else in my baths because nothing else will compare and I know that what I see is what I get. The one particular Lush product I am going to review today is a Bath melt which is called ‘You’ve been mangoed’ a brilliant title for a product I think and with a name like that it isn’t very forgetful. ...  Read the complete review

When I was in Edinburgh last month, spending time with Dave whilst he is working up there, I just had to pop into Lush - well we don't have any branches here in North Wales so I have to visit one whenever I get the chance! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'll have to be careful or Dave will wonder whether I go up to Edinburgh to see him or for a visit to Lush! LOL! Anyway, on this particular occasion, I treated myself to the You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt and the Waving Not Drowning Bath Ballistic. I put the items into individual yellow bags in the shop and the assistant kindly added label stickers to remind me what I had bought. Today as the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt: You've been Mangoed all up my nose! (284 words)

I always get one product out of the range of Lush that I do not like, And 'You've been Mangoed' is the exact product that I do not like from the Bath melts section. I was firstly given this as a gift and loved the look of it, as it looks exactly like the shape and design of the dream time bath melt that I really do love. You've been mangoed is rectangular in shape, waxy and silky in texture and has 'Mango' printed into the top of the bar and comes in at £2.69 for each bar. Do not get me wrong, I love Mango, I love the taste and the smell, I just do not like it in my bath at all. After I cut it up in my regular sized pieces, I popped it into a hot ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review You know when You've been Mangoed! (812 words)

You've Been Mangoed is a product I've been wanting to try for ages, but wasn't sure whether or not I would like a bath melt enough to justify the price tag, having been disappointed with bath ballistics in the past. One splash and they're gone doesn't really do it for me, may as well be throwing my pennies down the drain! At least with bubble bars you have something tangible you can see, and make foam beards and mohawks with...wait, is that just me? All the same, I needed something to up the value of my order to qualify for a free products box, and decided it would be a good time to try a bath melt. I had had a whiff of this in store and adored the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt: Lush You've Been Mangoed - You can mango me anytime! (679 words)

As a long standing Lush fan (been using their products for 11 years) I've noticed products come and go, come back for a limited time then disappear completely and no doubt this bath melt will end up the same way but as i'm already doing my stocking piling hopefully I will have enough to last me at least a year! I'm a huge fan of bath melts, they are an ideal item to add to a lovely hot bath, they are much more useful than a bath ballistic but then again i'm not a 100% fan of ballistics anyway. Lush manage to produce great items time after time with thanks to their dedicated and wonderful staff. And You've Been Mangoed is no exception. As you walk ...  Read the complete review
