This is one of those products I've bought when I've ran out of shower gel, been in the local 'cheapy' shop and picked whatever looked and smelt best off the shelf. Lux say this product will leave your skin radiant, beautiful with "a glow from top to toe". Now firstly I will say I was a little disappointed as it doesn't do this at all. I expected my skin to look healthy, glowing, maybe even a little shimmery. I couldn't tell any difference looks wise, when using this product or not using it. For the name of research, before writing this review I popped upstairs and washed one arm with it and left the other as it was. The result? They both look exactly ... Read the complete review

There's nothing nicer after a busy day looking after the family, home and garden than a nice relaxing soak in the bath, it gives you ½ hour to yourself away from all the chaos of daily life and can be just the thing the ease away all the days stresses. Of course a bath of hot water is nice but it's nothing without a luxurious layering of soapy bubbles, one of my favourite bath products is Lux Heavenly Milk, a gorgeous moisturising cream bath that I reach for each time I fancy a soak in the tub. Lux Heavenly Milk comes in 250ml and 500ml bottles and is thick and creamy, almost iridescent in colour it looks like liquid pearls and just oozes luxury, it has a very ... Read the complete review

I have a tendency to find products I like and stick with them but the exception to that are bubble baths. I have mentioned before that the only time I get to relax in my house is in the bath! So I like to use a nice bubble bath that smells nice and gives me lots of bubbles but doesn’t dry my skin. I saw this one on special offer and decided to give it a go. COMPANY HISTORY ----------------------------- Unilever makes this product; the company first started in 1890 and was founded by William Hesketh Lever who produced the famous Sunlight soap at the time this was a fantastic new product that made hygiene and cleanliness popular in Victorian ... Like most people nowadays I shower at least once a day and chop and change what bathing products I use. I tend to try most things , especially when they are on offer. I am lucky to not have any skin allergies and so do not find this a problem However with the quickly approaching more mature years I do find that my skin has a tendency to dry out. I shower quite a lot as, working on a hospital ward, I am very conscious of germs and infections, plus the need to smell fresh. So this time when purchasing my shower gel I thought I'd look for something a bit more gentle but which still had a nice perfume. Looking around my local Netto, where I go for ... I bought this shower cream as it was cheap and looked really nice. And the mixture of pearl proteins and orchid milk sounded lovely. The bottle claims to leave your skin looking radiant, with a beautiful glow from top to toe which to be honest, it didn't look or feel any different from using a normal shower gel/cream. It smells lovely and had a slight shimmer to it which I thought would leave the skin looking glowing but it didn't. The smell didn't last on my skin long either. My skin didn't feel extra soft and still used a moisturiser after using it. The bottle is a good size for the price (£1) its a 200ml bottle. ... Read the complete review
