Lynx Africa Shower Gel

...Introduction... I Have been using Lynx products for years and Africa has been one of their most well know names for some time. I first remember receiving a Lynx Africa shower gel as part of a gift set for Christmas when I was about 11 or so. Since then I have regularly used Lynx shower gels and many of their other products. I have had good experiences with almost all of their products except Lynx Hair Gel a few years ago which made my hair feel like straw and was harder than every other gel to wash out. When it comes to choosing men's toiletries my husband is very laid back about the whole process. he likes to smell good but tends to stick to the same deodorants and toiletries that he has used for ages. There is nothing wrong with this but every now and again I like to gently suggest that maybe he should try a new fragrance or brand. When it comes to shower gels for us men there is only a limited choice of brands about and perhaps the most prominent of those would be Lynx. I've been using Lynx products for as long as I can remember and while I have tried other shower gels every now and then I always seem to navigate back to my original Lynx. Lynx Africa Shower gel is designed for men and my review is purely based on using some of my other half's products that I stay over at his house last minute and don't have many toiletries with me! The bottle is black plastic with a flip top lid and have the lynx Africa label on it and all of the Lynx labels have different statements these days which are short and sweet and basically designed for men so they might say "scrub yourself after a dirty night out" or something similar and they always make me smile when I read them. Personally I would never go out and buy any Lynx product mainly because of the cheap and nasty experiences I had with it when I was in my early teens. I always found that their deodorants simply masked any odour instead of neutralising them making me feel insecure. This fear has followed me into later life (as my numerous “smelly” opinions might reveal). Due to these feelings I can safely say I wasn’t going to bother with this present and push it to the back of my bathroom cupboard only to be used in an emergency.
