...Introduction...

I Have been using Lynx products for years and Africa has been one of their most well know names for some time. I first remember receiving a Lynx Africa shower gel as part of a gift set for Christmas when I was about 11 or so. Since then I have regularly used Lynx shower gels and many of their other products. I have had good experiences with almost all of their products except Lynx Hair Gel a few years ago which made my hair feel like straw and was harder than every other gel to wash out. Anyway I have always had good results with Lynx Shower Gels and here is my review on Lynx Africa shower gel.

...Price and Availability...

This shower gel is very popular with all ages of men but especially younger men and teenagers and it is very available too as you can find it in all the supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Asda and also in places like Boots, Wilkinson, Poundstretcher and Superdrug and any other regional store which sells bigger brand toiletries.

You can buy the shower gel for around £2 which isnt bad as it is round about what you will pay for a similar bottle of shower gel from the other ranges of shower gel from the likes of Radox and Adidas. There are many deals on Lynx products which will give you deals like buy one get one free and buy any 3 for the price of 2 which I often see most often in Boots.

...The Gel...

Once you open the bottle and pour the gel into your hand or onto your body you will see the gel is red and you will smell the strong smell it brings out. Mixed with water this gel will give very effective cleaning and gives a refreshing feeling that gives great results.

A good thing about this shower gel is that you don't need to put much of it to water to get a lot from it. Just a bit bigger than a few peas is really all you need to use for each time you spread this over your body and just keep reapplying in small doses over your body.

...The Smell...

This is one of their nicest smells and Is quite strong without being overpowering. Once you have had a shower or bath in this shower gel you will smell nice and it will seem like you have sprayed a little Africa deodorant on as it gives off a slight very nice smell.

It has a fruity smell and is a little musky, it lasts for quite a long time without losing it's scent too much which is always key with any soap or shower gel or any fragrance product for that matter. The smell works best when it has some deodorant over it as that's usually what you do when you have a shower or bath put some deodorant on afterwards.

...Using as shampoo...

All the shampoo manufacturers say to always use shampoo instead of using shower gel or soap on your hair and with most shower gels I would probably say something along those lins but Lynx shower gels work particularly well as shampoos and they give good protection against dandruff and give your hair a good shine. I have had the best non shampoo results from using Lynx shower gels.

Sometimes you are caught out without any shampoo and Lynx shower gel is all you have? that's ok it will work well but I would advise on getting a shampoo not too long after as you will save your shower gel for your use on your body instead of your hair.

I have used Lynx products for over 10 years and have only had a problem with one of their products and I have heard they have improved the item in question (Lynx Hair Gel). So if you are in need of some shower gel next time your are in your local supermarket or Boots then pick up a bottle or two of their shower gels and be impressed.
