... from a discount store, Poundland I think, so at £1 a tube this is a great buy. With so many different toothpastes and brands out there claiming to give you such great results it's hard to find one that delivers on its promises. In my opinion, there's not a great deal of difference between them all so I find something that's nice enough to use and leaves my mouth feeling clean. This product claims to give you a 'sparkling white, healthy smile' because of a 'dual effect formula has advance micro-polishing particles to g...more

Premium Review Macleans White & Shine Toothpaste: Clean, Shiny Teeth But Not Miracle Whiteness (354 words)

I don't tend to spend as much on toothpaste and toothbrushes as I used to anymore, as there are plenty of good products out there either from lesser-known brands or offers on brand names. McCleans, distributed by GlaxoSmithKline, are a very popular choice when it comes to toothpaste and, with years of knowledge and experience, you'd expect quality when it comes to their products. Their White & Shine is sold in a 100ml tube and retails for over £2 in most places, though they're currently £2 (and buy one get one free) in Tesco. I picked mine up from a discount store, Poundland I think, so at £1 a tube this is a great buy. With so many ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Doesn't whiten or shine-en! (360 words)

I have been using Macleans White and Shine toothpaste for a few months now so I thought it was probably time to do a review on it. I am coming to the end of my current tube and having considered whether to buy it again, I have decided against it. The toothpaste comes in a cardboard box. Inside is a really funky looking tube (well, as funky as toothpaste gets). It is a metallic purple colour with lots of little tiny stars pictured on it, along with the metallic teal Macleans logo. The top is made from white plastic and is a screw on top. The tube states that the toothpaste 'cleans and polishes for whiter, shinier teeth' and that it uses ...  Read the complete review

In my house we have 3 different tubes of toothpaste for 3 different people! We all have our own preference! My Step Father uses Colgate, my Mum uses Sensodine and I use this...week in and week out lol. This is my favourite and I have been using it for months now and have no intention of switching brands or formula's any time soon! The Packaging.... I have a 100ml cardboard long dark blue and shiny oblong box and 2 sides of the box are the same and both of them tell me in white writing tell me it is Macleans White & Shine 'Cleans and polishes for whiter, shinier teeth and gives enamel protection' and that it is Dual action and the box has a jewel ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Macleans my teeth good 'n' proper (827 words)

Whilst considering this review, I concluded that toothpaste is somewhat of a boring thing... yet essential if you want to keep your pearly whites in tact. My teeth have not been looking so white of late, which in turn has encouraged me to try out various whitening toothpastes (with varying degrees of success). My most recent purchase was Macleans 'White & Shine'. I got this diamond geezer at Poundland for... £1 ["CRIKEY" I hear you cry]. However if you don't fancy braving the gauntlet that is the aisles of Poundland, you can currently pick this particular toothpaste up for £2.31 in Tesco. **What You Get** The ...  Read the complete review

*Introduction* My teeth are very important to me. I am 21 years of age and have yet to have even a filling. And I would like to keep it that way for as long as I possibly can. I believe that the reason for my good dental hygiene is largely due to the way in which I look after my teeth. Part of this process include brushing my teeth with my favourite toothpaste, Macleans White and Shine twice a day. *The Claim* Enjoy naturally whiter, cleaner teeth and fresh breath. *About the Product* With Macleans you can have the confidence that your mouth is healthy.
