Advantages: cheap, nice taste, seems to works

Disadvantages: None

Since giving up smoking, I always keep an eye out for any toothpaste that claims it whitens your teeth. One of these products is Macleans toothpaste.
Packaging
This product comes in the usual cardboard box which is silver with the Macleans logo written on it. Inside, the toothpaste comes in a bog standard tube which again is silver is colour with red detail on it. The lid to the toothpaste screws on and off and is therefore very easy to use.
Cost
I buy this product from Tesco's and quite often it is on some sort of special offer which is usually buy 2 for £3.00 which works out at £1.50 per tube which I think is reasonable considering it is a brand name and its also a whitening product.
Extra Info About This Product
The packaging clearly states that this product is no to be used by anyone under the age of 7 years old. You are also advised to use this product twice a day to really see the benefits.
Taste
Macleans Whitening Toothpaste is quite minty and certainly leaves your mouth feeling very refreshed. I often find that some of the whitening products can be overpowering but this is not the case with this product.
Does It Work?
I have found that my teeth have got whiter since I have been using this product although I am unable to say whether this is because of my giving up smoking, or because I am now using this product. I found that after two weeks of using this product / giving up smoking, the yellow marks on my teeth began to fade. This product does not make your teeth sparkle or look unnaturally white which is an added bonus.

Summary
In summary I would certainly recommend this product. I think it offers good value for money, especially considering that it is usually on special offer at Tesco's. The taste of this product is pleasant with it tasty strongly of mint but not so strong that it becomes unpleasant.
As I already mentioned, I am not sure of it is this product or the fact that I have given up smoking that is helping me teeth to regain their whiteness but as far as toothpaste goes, I would recommend this product anyway.

Summary: A well priced product that seems to work
