magicool came out about three years ago. It is meant to act as your personal ait conditioning in a can. The spray was specially formulated to remain cold without going in the fridge or freezer which is really smart, and it isn't too big so you can keep a can in the car or your bag.

For 150ml, it costs £4.47 in Boots, plus you get your advantage card points. In superdrug, you can get a 200ml can of the magicool spray for £4.69 or the prickly heat orange can that you can treat prickly heat with which costs £5.87 for 150ml.

Both sprays are free of fragrancies, alcohol and preservatives, so you don't mind spraying this on your face and chest in confidence that you won't get spots or a rash afterwards.

This spray was an absoloute god send when I was pregnant in 2006. It was July, very hot and I was 9 months pregnant. I was so hot and uncomfortable with a huge baby bump, I was constantly sweating. I was scared I'd pass out or something, so I looked for ways to keep cool. Over three days, I went through two cans of this spray, keeping it with me at all times, it really helped to cool me down. I'd spritz it over my face and chest to feel a great cooling sensation. I remember being in labour with my little boy, and my daughter spraying me with the spray to help cool me down, and just after he was born, I was using it on the ward to keep cool. I had a fan as well, and that's a great way to cool down even more, I'd spray the spray on my face then stand by the fan. Bliss! It makes you feel even cooler.

Since then, I hadn't seen anymore of the spray and had thought it had been discontinued, so I will be getting some this summer now. I'd definitely recommend it, it really does cool you down when you're feeling hot. The price isn't the lowest, but it is better than carrying a fan around everywhere with you.
