Malibu Soothing Aftersun

The smell of coconut always makes me really feel like I am on holiday, I don't know about you, but I searched high and low to find a suncream and aftersun that were scented coconut. Well, I found them in the Malibu suncare range. I have been a big fan of the whole range for a number of years now and especially the after sun which is just what you need after a day out in the sun. I have skin that tans easily, thankfully I rarely burn, but other friends of Mine are not so fortunate, yet still rave on about the effectiveness of these products. In Oz I believe they have a slogan about skincare and the sun, Slip, Slap, Slop all has something to do with slipping a tshirt on, slapping a hat on and slopping the sun cream on. Well slopping sun protection cream on in this country sets you back 20 quid for the basics, (ok so what price on health?) The fact is that an average family holiday requires at least this much, even though Boots are doing their two - for- one promotion. A decent sized bottle of factor 10 plus will see you part with at least a fiver. How can they justify these prices? Well I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled across some aftersun that was only 3 .89 WOW what a bargin . I thought i'd try it even though I was a bit wary of how good it would be . I had been out for the day was wearing a fleece and still got sunburn !!! That's Scotland for you !!! I mainly had sunburn on my cheeks nose and the top of my ears ( which was really quite sore ). I was pleasently surprised when i tried the aftersun it smelt quite nice and took the sting out of my sunburn almost straight away and didn't make my face too greasy . This is surprisingly effective, and cooling. I bought it doubtfully, as it was cheaper than you normally pay for aftersun (£4), and so I was worried it might not work. Quite the opposite, it has aloe vera, allanton, and vitamin e, and is, as promised, fast acting and non greasy.It did get used quicker than other after sun I have previously bought, so may not have been as thick, but it certainly did the job, helping 2 of us with burnt skin. When we applied it, the effect was immediately cooling, and it sank straight in, so you could wear clothes on top , without leaving grease marks, or feeling sticky.
