I do like bubble bath and every time I go for a little wander around the shops, I buy some bubble bath. That does not mean that I have a house full of the stuff...I actually rarely go shopping as I find it all too too boring!

THE PACKAGING

This comes in a 750ml clear plastic bottle with a large screw top lid- instruction/directions are on the back and the front "features" a raspberry (what else?) and the Marks and Spencer logo. It also tells me that it is PH balanced with natural fragrance oils, so good news for skin.

THE PRODUCT

Unscrew the top, have a little sniff, and yes, it really does smell of raspberries. Now I like that smell so I knew we were going to get along just fine, and when I poured it into the bath, it's a nice pinky purply raspberry colour. Not good for anyone with any total dislike of this fruit...don't buy.

The product itself is quite thick which should have been an indication of the bubbles to come!

RESULTS?

The very first time I used this, I had not had a bath for a week. Throw up those hands in horror...no, I had been having obligatory showers because we had been left with no hot water, and I hate showers! So, this I was well prepared to like.


How rash was I, I didn't stop to read the directions and poured it under the running hot water with wild abandon, and watched those bubbles rise; and rise they did! I love a bath with lots of bubbles and this certainly produced lots...not those scummy little ones you sometimes get, but the kind of bubbles the Hollywood stars lie amongst to maintain their modesty.

So, there I am contemplating life and harbouring thoughts that maybe, since I was a Hollywood starlet, some hunk might walk through the door. Lasted only a couple of seconds but the thought was there. The crème bath (not bubble bath) actually leaves your skin all clean and baby soft. I think that's what the crème bit is about; it definitely moisturises your body.

It really does make you feel all clean and soft and ready for your pyjamas and an early night with a mug of Horlicks and a good book...certainly not an invigorating, keep me awake kind of soak.

The bottle lasts a long time as there is no need to put a lot of the liquid into the bath. It really does produce lots of bubbles for a very small amount.

I would recommend this if you like the smell of raspberries and like a really bubbly bath.
