Advantages: Child friendly with makes lots of soft fluffy bubbles
Disadvantages: None
Matey bubble bath, what can I say, it must me the best bubble bath in the world! I remember my mom buying me this when I was little, so I chose to buy the same for my daughter.
Matey is a very mild and gentle bubble bath which is kind to even sensitive skin. This is also one of the reasons why I chose this bubble bath as my daughter and I have sensitive skin, therefore I also use it in my bath.
It also contains added moisturisers from seaweed extracts and it is ph balanced.
It is recommended for use with children over 1 year, however, my 4 month old son has been in the bath with his sister which has contained matey and it hasn't irritated his skin at all.
Making Bubbles:
It is very simple, all you need to do is pour 2-4 inner capfuls of the bubble bath under the running water and it makes lots of fluffy bubbles which my daughter always puts on her chin pretending to be Santa.
The bottle designs:
The design I buy the most is the one with the pink mermaid on the front, called Mer-Matey. I choose this one because my little girl likes it and with her being into all pink things like most little girls, this is one she chooses every time.
There are also three other designs out at the moment, a blue sailor, a cute parrot called Lucky who has the appearance of a pirate and an octopus who is dressed as a doctor.
The empty bottles are reusable as fun bath toys; my daughter loves to play with them in the bath when they are empty.
Fragrance:
In my opinion, the scent of most of the matey varieties is very floral, when I have run a bath using matey, the smell travels through upstairs and it makes me feel very warm and cosy.
Contents:
It contains 500ml of liquid and the manufacturers claim that it can last for up to 30 baths, which I believe is very true. No I've not actually kept a tick chart or anything like that but what I do know is that it is very long lasting.
Cost:
I buy my Matey from Asda, it costs £1.00 which I think is very good value for the fun my daughter gets out of the product.
Summary: The best bubbles in the world!
