I received a Boots Mediterranean gift set for Christmas. The range is something I see in Boots from time to time but have never been tempted to buy any of the products because some of the product descriptions are a bit too obscure for my liking. I certainly wouldn't have chosen to buy this body wash as immediately the pale green colour had put me off when I first set eyes on it. The ingredients in this body wash were all things I had never tried on their own or in a combination in anything in my bath. I had even missed out on the wheat germ Lush products so far as they didn't appeal to me. The body wash is packaged in a squeezy bottle with a flip lid ... Read the complete review

Some things in life I realise are good for me, but smell or taste disgusting, or are even painful to endure, and therefore require a bit of steely determination in their use; take tooth extraction, eyebrow plucking, drinking herbal tea, or swallowing dissolvable aspirin for example (urgh). However, when I take a shower or sink into a deliciously warm bath, I don't expect to hold my nose and tell myself to 'think of the benefits'.As far as I am concerned, bathtime is the domain solely of pleasant scents and decadence; no vomit inducing wiffs are permitted. So, imagine my disgust then when I attempted to try the somewhat unappealing sounding Boots 'Bergamot, Wheatgerm, and ... Read the complete review

Whenever my mother comes to visit she always brings me lots of toiletries and gift sets with her. No, she isn’t making an unsubtle hint about body odour, but is sharing her twice yearly bounty of gifts from her primary school class. This time I got a number of bottles from the Boots Mediterranean range and this was the first one I tried out. ***The Range*** One of the Boots own ranges, it is supposed to reflect the scents of the Mediterranean. There are a range of moisturisers, balms, sprays and shower gels with different combinations of plant extracts and oils. Boots say of their range (taken from their website): “Indulge in a ... I was given this product in a set for my birthday, I don't often use boots products as I think you can get others just as good for half the price. I have now found out this body wash sells for £4 for the 200ml bottle which I think is far too expensive. I do like the packaging as it is a squeazy bottle with a large black flip top lid at the bottom which I love as I hate it when the lid is at the top so all the body wash is stuck in the bottom so you have to spend ages shaking it to get some out. There is a large sticker on the front and one one the back, they are nice simple stickers with large easy to read writing. It states that it is an organic product, ... Read the complete review

I've seen this in stores, but just recently purchased it. Others say it does not please the nose, but I strongly disagree with that. I do not like most flowery or vanilla or baked cookies smells. Those turn my stomach a little, as they are generally very overpowering to me. I much prefer what I like to call 'dirt & grass' smells. I like the smell of spices, fresh cut grass, herbs and 'clean cotton.' I love the smell of the forest when hiking and camping. I do not prefer manmade smells to Mother Nature's creations. I am a big fan of Aveda products, and this reminded me of the very natural and woodsy fragrance of their products. To me, it is revitalizing. I ... Read the complete review
