Mitchum Deodorant (Aerosol)

I decided to try this after having some issues with other deodorants sure and sanex to name a few. I bought it on special offer from boots. It's usually around £1.89 price. I did wonder at first when I say the bottle. It is greeny blue colour not the most eye catching can on the shelf but I decided to give it a go anyway. I've tried several scents - shower fresh, powder fresh (think thats the name its one with pink strip on can) and frangrance free and can say I like them all. Powder fresh is my favourite as it has a rather girly smell to it. It is a light scent though and not at all over bearing. Unfortuntately this is the one thats normally never in stock ...

I bought this as I was bored of buying the same old thing, and wanted something that worked well. I had previously been using either nivia or sure, and though the scent on either was nice, they didnt work to prevent or reduce sweating, this is what I hoped mitchum would do, especially as it stated 48 hours coverage on the can. I sprayed this liberally over my skin in the morning, and then to make sure, before I started my gym class, also applied again. IT DID NOT WORK!NOT AT ALL! what I did get was an oily/silicon type residue, it was like my skin was throwing up the deoderant! the residue could be wiped off with a towel ...

Mitchum aerosol antiperspirant deodorant comes in a slim light green coloured can. At least the shower fresh fragrance that I bought did. There is also a blue can with a fragrance called cotton fresh (or something similar). This cost me £1.46 at out local chemist's shop and I was attracted by the 48h protection claim on the front of the can. I certainly wouldn't want to go 48hrs using deodorant and not washing it off but I thought that a product that good had to be worth a try.
