Advantages: It really works!

Disadvantages: Not found any yet.

Now, I'm one of those people who, as soon as the temperature rises above 25º or so, perspires profusely. Apart from the discomfort, which is bad enough in itself, my shirt gets soaked and unsightly damp patches appear. In otherwords, I'm hardly the most attractive looking sight in the height of summer!

I've tried just about every anti-perspirant/deodorant on the market and none have worked for me, including that well known spray which is supposed to be the ultimate answer. Last month, my wife bought home a Mitchum Roll-on for me to try, and, bingo, problem solved, just like that!

For me, Mitchum Roll-on does exactly what it says on the can. A quick application first thing in the morning and I remain completely dry all day no matter how warm it gets inside or out.. Yes, really, even during the recent very hot weather here in the South East, Mitchum worked like a dream.

Mitchum is available in 100ml size in three 'flavours', Unperfumed, Showerfresh and Powderfresh. Although I'm inclined to go for the Unperfumed, I've now tried the Powderfresh which firstly works equally as well and has a pleasant talcum smell which is not at all overpowering and still reasonably masculine.

As far as allergy is concerned, Mitchum does not give me any problems. The fairly common armpit soreness has not occured as yet, so this product appears to suit me well. Obviously, this may not be the case with everyone, but certainly none of my family have yet suffered.

This morning I bought Mitchum in Tesco for £2.68. It's not the cheapest anti-perspirant/deoderant on the market, but, in my view worth paying the extra for.

I see there is also a spray version for £2.49 in Tesco, but I haven't tried it as yet.
