Advantages: very effective, smells nice, inexpensive if you shop around

Disadvantages: leaves alot of white residue

Unlike the picture shown I use the powder fresh Mitchum Deodorant which comes in a green bottle. It really does smell powder fresh too but not so strongly it interferes with perfume or takes over completely like some deodorants can (see my review on Dove for one that does!).

The claim is it is strong enough to last 48 hours but I have to say I've never put it to the test, I like my bath or shower each day so that isn't going to happen! It is however very effective, applied once a day there is no wetness or odour except the lovely powdery smell, even after exercise.

It does leave alot of white residue though and if you wear it with dark clothes it is going to mark them.

I have sensitive skin and many deodorants irritate my underarms but even though this is a powerful one it doesn't at all and I've been using it for a couple of years with no problems, virtually unheard of for me as my skin usually tolerates something for a few months then reacts badly and I can never use it again.

I buy mine from our local Wilkinsons for £1.49 at the moment and it's also available in unperfumed but I tried that one and missed my powdery fresh scent!

Highly recommended.
