Advantages: IT WORKS!
Disadvantages: Cost
Anti-Perspirant, Perfumed, Spray, Stick, Roll-on, Body sprays ... just how do you go about choosing the right deodorant?!! Go for the best looking cans, the nicest smell or what? Or do you go for the most effective at what it claims to do? I have always used a spray deodorant as it is easy to apply and gives you that fresh feeling, but in reality do they really give me what I am applying them for ..... an effective way of stopping sweat?! I wouldn't say I am a particulary sweaty person or someone who suffers from bad body odour but recently I have found that my usual spray just hasn't been doing a thing other than smell nice when sprayed. I have just had a baby and what with hormones flying high and all that I have found myself more sweaty than usual, not very nice! Looking through the deodorant section I over-look Mitchum as it is a lot more expensive than others on offer ... nearly double what I would usually pay. But things were getting bad and desperate measures were needed so I splashed out thinking that as it was so highly priced it must work! Was I right in that assumption? Totally! After paying just under £3.50 for it I went home and gave it a try. It claims on the bottle that it is so effective you could even skip a day and it is totally true. My sweat problem had stopped totally, no more embarrasing wet patches under the arms ... which as I had lots of people studying the baby in my arms was a very good thing!! It rolls on easily, drys fairly quickly and doesn't have a strong smell. Perfect! However ... after a couple of weeks use I developed a sore rash under my arms and had to discontinue use for a while. Itchy and sore underarms .. ouch! I am not one with particulary sensitive skin, infact this is the first skin product that I have found that irritates me. Perhaps I was just unlucky. If it wasn't for the rash I would always use Mitchum as it is certainly the best anti-perspirant I have found. It re
ally does work.
