Are you looking for something zingy and refreshing to wake you up in the shower each morning? If so, then read on as this review might be helpful to you.

Molton Brown have a fantastic range of shower and bath products, one of which is the Invigorating Ginseng Shower Gel.

This gel is perfect to get you going first thing in the morning as it has a very refreshing, almost "zingy" fragrance that lingers in the bathroom. Now, this isn’t a strong overpowering smell and, until we can get "scratch and sniff dooyoo", I don’t think I will be able to describe the fragrance very well.

However it is very fresh and not at all "girly" (thus perfect for all you men out there!) It contains Brazilian Ginseng which is reported to help stimulate cell regeneration and thus give the invigorating and revitalising effect.

The gel itself lathers up very well and doesn’t leave skin feeling tight (even though I have a touch of eczema on my arms). In fact, I have found that the lather can actually leave my skin feeling quite soft and not in any way irritated.

I also find that even although it is sold as a shower gel, you can also use it in the bath by adding two or three capfuls to running water. It creates an impressive array of bubbles and the gorgeous fragrance wafts though the house.

As for price, at £8 for 300ml, it is probably more than most people would pay for a shower gel but as far as the MB range goes, this is a very reasonably priced product. It does last a long time as you really only need a tiny amount at a time and, if like me, you just save it for use in the bath, it will last for months.

It is packaged in a stylish 300ml bottle with the Molton Brown logo on full display (looks good on your bathroom shelf!) and has a shiny silver cap which is ideal for measuring how much you need for a bath full of bubbles.

As with all MB products, it is not widely a
vailable on the high street but you can get it in some House Of Fraser Stores, QVC and direct from Molton Brown themselves.
