To my embarrassment I have to admit that the first time I received a bottle of Molton Brown body wash was as a Christmas present a few years ago and the first thought which went through my head was “what a cheap skate, getting me a yucky brown shower gel”. I am a firm fan of the Molton Brown range. Yes, it is pricey but I am also a believer of you get what you pay for. I would always advise buying Molton brown products from one of their shops if you can. This way you re more likely to receive some small trial freebies in your bag. The only downside to this is that once tried, you are usually addicted & end up spending more money in their store. Although Molton brown stores were once few and far between, mainly to be found in large department stores, there are more fo them popping up all over the place in shopping centres. There are very few products that I feel I can wholeheartedly recommend, but this is one. I have used this on and off for a while now and, despite the price, I keep coming back to it. It feels a quality product - ok, it's a luxury product - but it's a nice way to start the day. The pepper smell is lovely but, more than that, it really does wake me up. Radox have brought out something similar - separate review coming! But the smell isn't as potent and it doesn't give me the lift I need first thing. this is gorgeous - I so love this body wash - my def. 'desert island' luxury item! this black pepper bodywash is subtle but refreshing and the lovely smell lasts for ages. I do not know what it is about Molton Brown but everything seems so luxurious - is it the packaging alone? in this case -no - it is the product. Their items are not cheap but are worth every penny I think and you need only to use a little of the product so tends to last ages and makes the skin feel really nice and soft.
