Advantages: Great hand lotion
Disadvantages: Expensive
Molton Brown is a successful brand name that makes top quality, luxury lotions, soaps, moisturisers and other various care products. We have a few of these at home, and so do my in-laws. This product is one that they have at theirs, and they swear by it. We have never bought this particular Molton Brown product, but after using it at their house, we are reconsidering.
The Rose Granati hand lotion is lovely. We use our hands for such a high number of things, and quite often we don't take good enough care of them. Over-washing, cracked skin, damaged nails, cuticles, pores, the list is endless. What the Rose Granati does is try to restore some of the damage, and protect what we do have by hydrating and nourishing them.
The smell is rather like smelling some lovely flowers - there is a very 'outdoors' and refreshing smell to it, it is very floral. There is a blend of essential oils such as cardamon and ginger, and the addition of pomegranate is a subtle but effective one, particularly with the smell. And the smells hit you at different stages, avoiding a strange mix - they are all individual in there.
The effects it has had on my hands is very slight, but I have only used it recently. However, my hands do feel like they are cared for better, and my wife and my son use it sparingly as well. My son is 5, and he is at a stage where he washes his hands almost excessively for fear of germs. While we were up at the in-laws' house, he used this and loves it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend kids using this too much, much the same as other products not specifically designed for kids, as they need to be milder - perhaps a diluted down product or used more sparingly.
I recommend this product - it will make your hands feel a whole lot better and it doesn't leave them feeling greasy or oily. The lotion blends in quite quickly, and this, too, is nice, as there are other products on the market which will do a nice job of protecting your hands but leave them feeling slimy at times.
Molton Brown Rose Granati Hand Lotion is, like all Molton Brown products, not the cheapest, and a 300ml bottle of this will cost you £13.70. It is very expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Summary: Effective and expensive hand lotion
