Advantages: Looks good in your bathroom.

Disadvantages: The advantages don't justify the RRP

Some time ago I received a luxurious Molton Brown boxed gift set and this was one of quite a number of bath and shower products within the box.

- Price and Packaging -
My bottle is only 100ml and part of a gift box so I'm not sure how much a diddy little bottle like this would be. However the 300ml bottle on the Molton Brown website is £16.

The liquid comes in a transparent, plastic bottle with a silver coloured screw top lid.
- What's on the packaging? -

~ Rich and long lasting.
~ Pure ozonic aroma (whatever that may be?)
~ Infused with body-boosting seaweed and horse chestnut extracts.
~ It improves skin texture.
~ An excellent antidote to stress and fatigue.
~ Leaves your mind and senses energized.
- Recommended Use -

It's suggested that you pour one capful under a running tap. For use in the shower then apply some of the liquid on to a sponge or cloth and smooth over your body.

- My Experience -

~ The Smell and Appearance

This has a very clean, fresh smell and is ideal for both men and women as it doesn't have a strong floral scent to it. As for it having horse chestnut extracts, there isn't a single hint of this in the aroma of this. This is a green liquid.

~ Using it

This pours out rather too easily from the large hole at the top of the bottle so be careful when pouring out unless you aren't too worried about wasting it!
It creates quite a lot of bubbles with just a small amount, the faster and warmer the running water, the better! I tend to use this in the bath but have tried it in the shower and it gives a really good clean and lather but I prefer soaking in the bath with this.

As for the manufacturer's claims that it is an antidote to stress and fatigue as well as leaving your mind and senses energized, it hasn't really worked wonders with my stress levels. I certainly feel a little more relaxed after soaking in the bath for a short time but this is more likely to be the effects of the warm water although the smell that permeates around the bathroom thanks to this bath liquid does smell rather pleasant and soothing.

As for buying it again once mine runs out...... It isn't so luxurious that I would consider forking out £16 for a 300ml bottle for myself once this one runs out. However I would consider buying it as a gift for someone who is a fan of MB products.
Overall a lovely bath product but not hugely better than cheaper brands I have used.

Thanks for reading :-)

N.B. This review also appears on ciao.

Summary: Not worth £16 in my humble opinion!

£16's a bit steep for some bath stuff! I'd be very worried about wasting it, lol.
