Mum Fresh Peach Invisible Bodyguard Anti-Perspirant Deodorant This was the first deodorant I ever used; it was given to me by my mum of course, but not with this lovely fresh peach smell. I can't remember what the actual fragrance was except that the bottle was pink and it was cheap and it did the job it was intended for. So it was Mum for me until I started earning my own money and could choose for myself. I've tried other brands as well, Sure, Soft and Gentle, Dove (my favourite) Right Guard etc and all of them are very good indeed. I settled with Dove and forgot about my best friend Mum, completely ignoring her as I passed her by in the Supermarket, I left her on the shelf, poor old Mum! Then a while ago I was shopping at Halfpriceorless and came across it once again. I was running low on my usual previously mentioned brand and wouldn't be making the monthly pilgrimage to Inverness for another couple of weeks, so I decided to try it and see if it had changed at all. At 59p for 50ml it was even more tempting and you know what I'm like for a bargain! So as I was saying, the fragrance of this one is Fresh Peach, and as it was the only one they had, it had to be that or nothing so I bought it. The smell reminds me of an Avon Pretty Peach bubble bath and talc set I had once for Christmas when I was little, really girly and fresh.Anyway it's not a strong overpowering peach fragrance, it's very light and lovely. By the way it's a roll - on deodorant in case I haven't mentioned it before and unlike some, it dries very quickly indeed so you won't have to wait very long for it to dry before you can get dressed in the mornings or whenever you use it. It's not sticky at all, doesn't sting as long as you don't use it on sore or broken skin and it keeps that fresh fragrance the whole daylong. Ingredients Aqua (why don't they
just write water?) Aluminium chlorohydrate, PPG-15, Stearyl Ether, Steareth-2, Steareth-20, Parfum. It doesn't contain any alcohol apparently. So has it changed? Well yes in my opinion it has, for the better I might add. It's a lot lighter and so as I said it dries very quickly. Years ago it was quite thick, took an age to dry and had a bit of an icky, sticky feel to it, so it has improved a great deal. The price is very good too. I know I only paid half price for it, but even at the full price which would be round about £1.18 it's still very reasonable compared with all the others on the market today. So will I buy it again? Of course I will, it's a bargain and after all, "a girl's best friend is her Mum!"
