“ Brand: N-Spa / Type: Body Lotion „
Normally when it comes to using lotions on my body I tend to prefer body butters over normal lotion. They seem to work best for my skin - espcially the drier areas - and often they last me much longer than a bottle of lotion and although Im not brand loyal I dont normally use a lotion over a butter. But as my mom bought me a gift set a few weeks back that was from the N-Spa professional range and it contained this 'Skin Drench Body Lotion' I thought Hey! If its good enough for professionals its got to me good enough for me so I decided to give it a try. Its better than I expected but it hasnt changed my opinion on body butters over lotions in the slightest. My skin is drenched with moisture, but my dry bits are still dry! Useful Information: Price: 225ml bottle - Around £3.50 - £4 Stockists: ASDA & The N-Spa website - Ive not seen this sold in any store apart from ASDA but there are plenty of those stores worldwide so this should be easy to get hold of. Other Info: Promises to leave skin softer, smoother and glowing with just one application. Promises to be lightweight & not leave any greasy residue behind - a highly hydrating lotion according to N-Spa's website. This product comes in a small 100ml bottle [the one I own is 100ml as I got it as part of a set] which is totally transparent through which you can clearly see the product inside - which is a bright white and appears to be very creamy and thick which usually means it will be very moisturising - in my experience. At the top of the bottle is a small black cap that can be flipped open and shut OR taken off all together if you want to get more out of the bottle quicker - I prefer to do it the first way though as you dont waste any using it like that. On the front and back of the bottle is all the information you could need - directions for use, shelf life, ingredients etc and there is also an email address and street address to write to should you any more questions on the product. The thing I like about the little bottle I own is that it is travel suitable so if your going on holiday soon and going by plane these products might be good for you as you can take them without worrying about them exploding!! If you buy the full sized version of this it comes in a bottle with a pump attached to the top - I want that design as it seems to ensure you dont waste any of the cream each time you apply - the full sized design is much better I reckon. You use this cream as you would any normal body lotion - best if you apply it after a shower or a bath in my opinion as the results are much better that way. You simply squueze out a generous amount onto your hands and the rub into your skin - you can use this on any part of your body, I tend to use it all over and then apply slightly more on the dry areas which for me are knees and elbows. You do need to use quite a bit of this each time you apply so Im guessing my small 100ml bottle wont last me very long at all but its quite cheap so I cant complain too much - and I got it for free! I found that even though this looks creamy in the bottle is is quite quite thin and runny once you squeeze it from the bottle which is good in some respects as it goes a little bit further and rubs in much easier but that means it isnt as intensive on dry areas. Although as the consistency is quite runny that means it sinks into my skin really quickly so I dont have to wait around for ages before I get dressed which is definitely a positive in my opinion. As with my other review on the N-Spa Professional range the smell is normally worth mentioning BUT in this case the smell isnt anything to write home about. This smells very refreshing and clean but thats about it. Theres nothing special about it but it does make my skin smell much cleaner and the scent does linger - but doesnt interfere with any extra perfume I add to my skin so I guess even though the scent isnt amazing its good for a product like this one. And it would be brilliant for people who have skin that is sensitive to fragranced products - good for some people but its nothing amazing. I much prefer the N-Spa fruits collection - results and scent wise it seems. Now the results of this on parts of my body are amazing. This really hydrates my legs and arms wonderfully and it makes them feel much softer and smoother particularly when I apply this after having a shower. My skin feels and smells much cleaner after using this so I do have a few positives. However this doesnt do anything for the drier areas of my skin - my knees and elbows just dont feel hydrated at all when I apply this so I end up having to apply extra body butter to those areas. I will continue to use this until my bottle runs out but I dont think Ill be buying this again - it just doesnt match up to body butters in my opinion, its not as hydrating or as softening but for people will 'normal' skin all over this will be amazing. I wont be buying again but its not a terrible product - its just not for me. Thanks For Reading. x0 Salz 0x
When it comes to body lotions/creams I buy them ever such a lot with the best of intentions! I then seem to use them once or twice and then forget all about them pushing them to the back of my cupboard I store my toiletries in until eventually I throw them out. Its just a habit I cant seem to to kick! When I spotted this in Asda costing about £4.00 I liked the simple packaging and was convinced it was a product I needed to purchase! Coming up to the summer and wanting to get my kit off on the beach (I live by it now lol) I wanted to get my prune like skin soft, supple and smooth so I plumped for it and spent my pennies on it! The Packaging: The bottle is clear plastic and rather large cos it holds 500ml of the white lotion and it has a plastic arm to dispense the lotion out of at the top of it that you can twist to turn it off and off which I always think is a nice safety feature on products such as this. On the front label I am told that it is Skin Drench Body Lotion by N-Spa 'Professional' and 'Hydrate me - turn your bathroom into a blissful spa' and that its 'Created and used by the experts at Nirvana Spa the uk's no.1 pure spa'. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and I'm given directions for use, ingredients are listed, the size is stated (as I've listed already) and contact details for the Nirvana Spa are given. Nice simple bottle this is, the arm to dispense it is robust and the information given is listed tidy and it looks a professional product. A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Back Of The Bottle: Nirvana is bliss, a state of calm and happiness. Share our Nirvana Spa experience and feel hydrated with this skin drench body lotion created with Orange Flower, Passion Fruit, Seed Oil and Dead Sea Minerals to help soften your skin. Turn your bathroom into a blissful spa. When skin lost its lustre, this gentle cream with leave your skin glowing and smooth like you just stepped out of a spa treatment. Using It: Well all you do with this lotion is apply it wherever you like of course! The lotion itself is white and dispenses out of the bottle with total ease. It is a lotion of course but it isn't runny as such and certainly isn't stiff or anything like that and its of good consistency. It has a nice, gentle and entirely natural aroma of orange blossom to it and that smell is fresh and clean and in my opinion suitable for men and women alike to use if desired. When applying it it absorbs into the skin ever so quickly. It gives itself enough time to be gently massaged into the skin then it dries instantly allowing you to dress with no transfer. It's not greasy on the skin and once absorbed leaves the smell I have already mentioned lingering for a good couple of hours nicely in the background. This leaves skin very delicately moisturised. Not in a huge way but the skin does feel somewhat softened when its on and I feel skin does sport a slight healthy sheen too. This is a fabulous every-day sort of body lotion. Easy to use, smells nice and gives subtle results I really do like it so thumbs up to Nirvana for this offering! Lots of N-Spa products are available in Asda and Sainsbury's.

I have a huge amount of body lotions but I sometimes find it difficult to remember to apply them! I've made it my new mission to get them all used up, so I am trying to be good and remember to apply it daily, and to help me, I've got bottles dotted around the house, so wherever I am, I'm never far from a bottle of lotion! Haha, that makes me sound just a little bit insane doesn't it?! This bottle of body lotion sits on my desk next to another N-Spa product I got for Christmas which is the Super Smooth hand cream. I've reviewed that if you're interested and it is a fabulous product, but the problem I have is that the hand cream and this body lotion come in virtually identical bottles and it's sometimes difficult to tell them apart. On more than one occasion I have applied the body lotion to my hands by accident and vice versa! On the subject of packaging I have the 100ml travel sized version which is a small cylindrical bottle with a black flip top lid. It's quite boring looking, but the full sized version shown above looks a bit more special with a pump dispenser. The body lotion calls itself 'skin drench' and my skin is very dry so I suppose it could do with being drenched in moisture! The smell of the lotion is gorgeous. It contains sunflower, passion flower and watermint which sounds a strange combination but the result is amazing. Years ago Natural Collection used to do a Sunflower range and it smells a little bit like that but softer. It's a very subtle scent and very light and summery and just slightly floral. As it's so gentle and quite a neutral scent it doesn't interfere or overpower any perfume you might be wearing, so it's great for every day use. When I first started using this product I was surprised at how light it was. Being called 'Skin Drench' I was expecting it to be quite a thick, heavy lotion that would give intense hydration, but in fact it's a very lightweight product. It would probably be more suited for use in the summer than the winter months when skin tends to be drier. The lotion is white and rubs in quickly and easily. I've found that it sinks into the skin really fast and the best thing is that it leaves no stickiness or residue. Given that it's so light I'm surprised at how hydrating it actually is. Even when my skin has been particularly dry this lotion has been enough to sort it out, and I don't need to apply loads as a little goes a long way. It keeps my skin moisturised all day and the scent lasts a good few hours after application too, so I don't need to keep re-applying throughout the day. The lotion comes in the 100ml travel size costing £1.38 from ASDA and they also make a 500ml bottle which is £5.50 and can be purchased on the Nirvana Spa website, www.nirvanaspa.co.uk I've just got to the end of my bottle and I'm really disappointed! I really like this body lotion, it smells lovely, is light on the skin, yet keeps my skin soft, supple and hydrated, and doesn't cost the earth. I would seriously recommend this, and if it wasn't for the fact that I have about 20 other body lotions in the cupboard, I'd be running out to buy another bottle of this straight away!
NSPA Skin Drench Body Lotion. I have a friend who swears by N Spa products, and he brought a few item around for me the other month to try, they are available from Sainsbury's and also Asda stock a range of their products too. This comes in a 500 ml bottle, thats 16.9 flozs. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser on the top of it, it has a chrome coloured rim to it, so looks quite stylish. It pumps out enough for each time you care to use it and what I noticed first and formost was the lovely smell that hit my nose as soon as I pumped some out. This body lotion is to help hydrate your skin, and it states on the bottle that it is a professional body lotion. The smell is of a kind of lemony orange if that makes sense, it does state that that it is made with Orange Flower, Passion Fruit Seed and also Dead Sea Minerals which they do tend to use quite a lot in their products. This is a gentle cream and I found that it does take a little while to become fully absorbed into your skin, but it leaves your skin feeling lustre, glowing and freshened, and also my skin does feel smooth, and silky after using this product. Directions : Apply over the whole body and massaage gently. Now for the boring bit : Ingredients : Aqua (Water) Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Polyglyceryl-3, Methylglucose Disterate, Helianthus Annus, (Sunflower) seeds, Cetyl Alchol, Sorbitol Parfum, (Fragrance), Passiflora Incarnata, (Passionflower) oil, Phenoxyethanol Carbomer, Propylene Glycol,Maris Salt, (Sea Salt), PapthenolLimonene, Linalool, Mentha Aquatica, (Watermint), Benzyl Salicylate, Sodium Hydroxide, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclothexene Carboxaldehyde, Hexyl Cinnamel, Citronellol, Citric Acid, Hydroxycitronellal, Methylparaben, Sodium Benzoate, and last but not least Sorbic Acid. Apparently they state on their bottle that this product will leave your skin feeling hydrates and will give you a spa experience. I must admit that since I have been using N Spa products my skin is feeling and looking great, anything that can help to make your skin feel and look good is great, especially with spring around the corner and those summer months quickly approaching, when you will have much more skin on show than in the winter months. What I also like about this product is that twenty five per cent of this bottle is manufactured from recycled material, and thats a good thing, as at least they are doing their bit too. This is made in the UK and they do have a website which is W>W>W Nirvanaspa.Co.Uk, and it is made in Berkshire. I liked the smell it made my skin feel soft and silky smooth too.I will give this product four out of five, as it does take a little while to be absorbed into the skin. Thanks for reading and rating my reviews :).
