Advantages: Smooth legs and nicer smelling!

Disadvantages: Its a bit messy!

I dread to think how many hours I waste looking for hair removal products while I am in Boots. Now the easiest option for me would be to just shave my legs - which I quite often do. But sometimes my legs just need a break and a chance to hydrate!
This is why I turned to Nair Pretty Hair Removal Cream (Soft Raspberry).

~~The Packaging~~
I have to admit I become pretty baffled when I stand in Boots looking at hair removal products, they all look the same to me and claim to do very similar things.
However the Nair Pretty Hair Removal Cream immediately stood out to me - mainly due to the packaging. The packaging is bright, colourful and very girly. The tube was distinctive in a pink and white packaging (such a difference to all the others!).
The tube I purchased was a 150ml tube, the tube stands on its end with a large pink screw on top. When you remove the plastic lid, there is a small hole for the hair removal cream to come out of.

~~The Product~~
Although it was the girly colours on the packaging that initially prompted me to take a closer look at this item, when I saw that it was a raspberry fragranced cream I was sold.

The cream is easy to squeeze out and the consistency of it is much the same as any other hair removal cream I have used. However the main difference is that it doesn't have the same awful smell that other hair removal creams do. Whilst the cream doesn't smell of 'real' raspberries and certainly doesn't smell good enough to eat, it is certainly an improvement on previous lingering smells I am used to when using hair removal cream.

It is easy to apply (if not slightly messy!). You are told to apply a thick layer without rubbing it in. One issue I did find when removing the cream though is that just washing it off is not enough to remove the hairs. I always use a plastic razor (that I got with another hair removal product) to remove the cream and thus remove all the hairs.

The cream is suitable for use on legs, bikini and underarms. It is recommended on the packet that you leave the cream on for four minutes, however you can leave it on for up to ten minutes. I have personally found that the ideal time is around eight minutes - but obviously it depends how stubborn your hair is!!

Whilst I cant say the results last a great deal longer than any other hair removal creams I have used, it is certainly longer lasting than shaving. It leaves my legs feeling lovely and smooth for up to three days longer than they would be with shaving, and it gives my legs chance to recover!

~~The Price~~
I paid £4.99 for a 150ml tube from Boots. Whilst this might seem a bit on the pricey side, the tube does last for several applications.

Summary: Hair removal of a different kind
