Advantages: It works! thats enough for me! its also scented and is very easy to apply

Disadvantages: while it develops, I got a burning sensation

Wow, what can I say, I had almost given up hope on ever finding a hair removal cream, they all seemed to not be strong enough to get rid of all my unwanted hair, most of then didn't have any real effect at all. -or not one that warrants spending £4 to £10 on anyway. But this? This really works!

In the past I have tried every type of Veet removable cream, spray, and anything else, the whole range, -even the waxes, don't do anything like enough for me. I have also tried the Boots own range, again, not strong enough, which for a teenager of 13 when I first got my hands on Veet, (or Immac as it was back then) was pretty worrying, I thought I was going to turn into a Yeti (but a pale blonde haired one!)

I don't think I ask a lot from a hair removal cream, my hair is blonde/fair, my skin is pale, I am not a naturally very hairy person, its just nothing seems to work on me, shaving inst enough, after fanout 4 or 5 hours there is stubble, and eplilators give me razor rash (?!). I have tried the boots wax, the Veet wax strips and the Boots own brand wax that you warm in the microwave, all doing very little for me.

This was a last resort buy, I needed to de fuzz and was depressed by the idea of the epliator again, I saw this in Boots for £7.99 and decided to give it a go, if anything I thought, I can review it on here and make it worth something to someone.

This spray is a can of hair removal cream/foam which you spray on the area you want the hair removed, its aimed at the teenage market- though I only saw this when looking it up on the website to give them good feedback. Reading the feedback there, I am not the only late 25-50 person using this! Its got a sweet melon kiwi scent, the actual scent is 'soft kiwi and lychee', it does smell pleasant to use, but to me, it still smells man made, its not a natural product and really shouldn't try to be! Nice of them to try though!

It reads on the can that you need to spray it on and leave it for 3-5 minutes, check and if you need more of an effect, leave it for no longer then 10. So, I thought to myself, 10 minutes it is.

Before using it, I washed my skin, dried off my legs and sat down to apply the spray.

I hadn't imagined how messy it was going to be- its not too bad really, its just that as your spraying your legs from a distance, obviously there will be some of the stuff that lands on the area behind your legs, which it did. My advice, wear flip-flops with a grip. It can become very slippy if your bathroom floor is tiled. Or if your like me at the gym, get the staff to put up a 'wet floor sign'.

Spraying it on is fairly easy, its a nice can to hold- not to fat not to skinny, and push to spray is fairly straight forward. It would be excellent for getting practice for spray tanning yourself- its easy to see where you add too much! Not that it matters with this. This is especially good as unlike Veet, its incredibly easy to knock off your legs, if you have wet hair, towel wrap it, a small drop can immediately wash off the spray on your legs.

I left mine on without checking the 5 minutes rule, I waited 10 minutes, there is no real pain, just a heating up and too hot feeling, its not like applying deep heat to your legs, its more like a tingling feeling, like you have stayed out in the sun too long.

I also did my underarms, this really did sting too much, and though I tried hard and was almost able to forget about it, I don't think I will be using this on my underarms again. After the burning feeling on my underarms, I knew that the bikini area was a no-go!

Showering off was very easy, there is no spatula like with other brands, but it just washed off with water so a shower does the trick. Immediately the burning feeling went away.

After the shower I dried off, no redness, no pain, my legs? HAIRLESS!! my underarms were a little different, though hairless, they were pink on the outside rim of my armpit- where your arm pit joins your back. This went away after about 4 or 5 hours, though it was a hot day so this could have impacted that staying pink for the time it did. It wasn't really comfortable to touch but it didn't really sting or anything. It 'smarted' slightly.

I still cant believe how hairless my legs were- I have never ever had them like this- not with wax, not with anything other then as soon as I shave my legs for about the first hour, and here today, 48 hours later? Still hairless! My underarm hair is starting to show about 1mm or less, not noticeable, but this is because I constantly shave it so there will always be bits growing though at different rates, unless I stop altogether for 6 weeks and then do it (cant see that happening!) then there will always be this regrowth problem. My legs have very pale hair so they ahdnt been touched for a week.

Verdict on this? Defiantly worth it! Even if it is aimed at people half my age! But next time, I think I will try the sensitive model!!

Summary: So glad I tried this!
