Advantages: Leaves skin soft and smooth.

Disadvantages: Residue left behind needs washing off with soap.

I don't often use body scrubs, I tend to use body brushes to smooth my skin in the shower, but I was on a Naked spree and decided another £6 wouldn't hurt (it was on offer in boots, normally it's £8ish).

I love naked products. 97% natural and no SLS (sodium laureth sulfate) or parabens which may or may not be bad for you, but why take the chance? They smell great, and clean well. Unadulterated love.

So onto the scrub. The packaging is plastic with a screw lid. Nothing spectacular. The packaging is a new design, before it was a double layered solid plastic pot, now it's one layer of average plastic.

The scrub is filled to the very top. It doesn't smell of much, mildly salty, on first opening. After the first scoop you are hit with a strong salt smell, think the sea without the seaweed. The scrub has the texture of damp salt with large salt crystals throughout. As you rub it onto your wet skin it begins to dissolve as it scrubs, and it leaves your skin silky smooth. And I loathe to admit it but it's more effective than a body brush...

My skin was left smooth and soft, all those red bumps I sometimes get in old weather disappeared and my pores felt tighter.

The only downside is the rinsing. When you rinse off the salt you are left with a thick layer of...something on your skin that needs to be removed with soap afterwards. This residue has lost it a star in my eyes. But I love it and I will buy it again.
