      If you can't stand the look of your cellulite, then try this. I'm so glad I did!

      After some regrettable weight gain due to sudden bad eating habits (we've all been there!) I'd developed some unsightly cellulite on the backs of my legs. Wanting to wear dresses but not being able to show off my legs because of this, urged me to try and do something about it. And fast! Of course I went on a sort of diet, and did a bit of exercise to get rid of the extra weight. But I needed some sort of product that would help my skin get back to the way it was. The Nivea Goodbye Cellulite! Had some pretty good reviews and wasn't overly expensive. Plus it was targeted specifically at banishing the problem. I bought a bottle from Boots when it was on offer (how I came across it) and got to work straight away.

      The product comes in a squeezy bottle and is light blue in colour. The texture is slightly gel like, and thick. But not so thick that you can't easily rub it into your skin. The gel like consistency means you only need a small amount to cover a large area. It does have a noticeable scent to it, but not one that is overpowering or unpleasant. The product claims that the Cellulite Gel-Cream contains "highly effective, natural Lotus Extract. It visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite - even without extra massage." The product also contains L-Carnitine - another active ingredient. And it's the combination of the two is what makes this unique and effective.

      As with any high claim product, the back of the bottle also features some 'proven results'. According to Nivea, in a test of 212 women, 88% of them after 2 weeks of use, confirmed that the gel makes their skin more beautiful. - noticeably toned and smoothed. Then in a test of 45 women, after 3 weeks of use, the signs of cellulite on the skin are visibly reduced, even without extra massage. The product then goes on to explain the recommended usage of smoothing the product, onto the problem areas daily.

      So, a product that claims to be an anti-cellulite gel-cream, that visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite within 4 weeks. Sounds a bit too good to be true. Obviously it won't completely get rid of your cellulite, that would be a miracle at that price! But it does claim to help REDUCE the APPEARANCE. Despite the product claiming for this to work even without extra massage, I thought it would be best to incorporate at least some massage into the routine. But even then I didn't do this often. I used this every day for at least a month, minus a few days here and there were I forgot to use it. I also used Jergens Naturals Firming moisturiser after showering, just to help the process along.

      The gel-cream is really easy to apply, just like applying any old moisturiser really. After applying you then have to wait a few minutes before dressing, but after massaging the product into your skin, it instantly feels soft and smooth. I have to say after a couple of weeks of not very religious use, my skin did feel a lot softer and smoother - more beautiful. Just like the product claims. After about a month, I did notice that my cellulite was significantly reduced. It hadn't completely disappeared, but any that I did have left was definitely less noticeable. And... I could actually feel confident wearing a dress again! This was such a huge change from when I first started using the product. You get a good 200ml of product and as you don't need a lot (a little goes a long way), one tube can easily last you about 3 or 4 months.

      I wouldn't suggest only using this product once. By this I mean only using the product until you're happy with the results, as slowly but surely, the cellulite will return. However, I find I can easily go for weeks before I need to start using this again. But even when I do, it's only every few days or so, until I feel happy enough to stop using again. This doesn't bother me though, because I just add it to my usual moisturising routine after I shower, so it's not an issue. Plus my skin always feels really smooth and soft for a few days after using.

      Treat yourself....and your skin!

      I absolutely love this product! It was a firm favourite when I bought it on a whim when Boots had it on offer. It usually retails around the £10 mark which you may feel is quite a lot but let me explain why you need to splash out and treat yourself.

      It is a blue colour and has a gloopy texture but without it leaving you sticky. Has a pleasant aroma which i something I always look for in my beauty products. As soon as you apply it to your skin you feel an instant cooling effect and initially you have to go "oooooh, that's cold!". Stick at it and you soon can slather in over yourself.

      Within a couple of minutes it is absorbed into your skin and I've then noticed an immediate smoothness to my skin.

      Now, when it comes to the big C word. I don't have much cellulite and now I have even less. The key to this product is to use it regularly and the idea behind it is that the skin enjoys the cooling effect and aids making the cellulite look less visible.

      In my opinion, it has worked well as, combined with exercise, the skin on my thighs has improved no end. Roll on the summer and getting the bikini out. I continue to use this on the rest of my body too just for the softness it leaves behind.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        If you want to treat your cellulite, this is the product for you!

        Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite has been on my radar for a few years now, I remember when it was reviewed on How to Look Good Naked and got the best results of any of the three products. Considering the relative prices of the other two, this was surprising and made me really interested to try it.

        I did begin to use it at that time and I have to say I did not really experience results. However, I was a bit haphazard in using it and so I didn't think it was fair to judge it on this experience.

        Recently I decided to give it another try and really commit myself to using the product. It costs about £10 for 200ml from Boots, which is a drastically lower price than most cellulite treatment products. For that reason, it's certainly worth a try.

        The product claims, through its combination of lotus extract and L-carnitine, to visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite in 4 weeks. There is plenty of advice and information on both the bottle and the box it (wastefully, I must say) comes in about cellulite and how the product works. It claims to both reduce the cellulite's appearance, and also to moisturise the skin.

        The bottle is pale blue with a curved top and a darker blue cap. The cap snaps open very easily and also closes firmly. Once open the gel-cream is a bright, light blue colour--almost electric blue, which makes it look very cooling. It has a fresh, unique smell that I absolutely adore--the smell is strong without being at all overwhelming.

        Applying the product is really simple, after squeezing it out you simply spread on to the areas where you have cellulite that you would like to treat. I use mine mainly on my thighs, and it spreads in and absorbs quite easily. Once it is dry, my skin feels very nice, however on my hands it can feel quite sticky. I make sure to wash my hands after application every time. The back of the bottle mentions that no extra massage is necessary for the product to work, but I do tend to rub it in quite thoroughly, just in case that helps even more!

        I have been putting this on after my shower every day for over two months now, and I think the difference is fantastic. Unlike my failed attempts at using this before, I have been really good about it and have also been dry body brushing before my shower. I am so impressed with the results this time around--certainly my cellulite has not disappeared completely, but the look of it is drastically reduced. After a few weeks my skin seemed in much better condition, and by now I feel like my legs look much smoother. A lot less cellulite is visible.

        Of course, results aren't permanent and you do need to keep up with it. However, once the results start to show, missing a few days doesn't seem to make much of a difference, as I went on holiday and forgot to take it with me. I am absolutely thrilled with this product, and I'm very glad I gave it another chance.

        It does take awhile to start working, but I would recommend this product wholeheartedly. Just don't give up if you don't see results immediately, it really is effective if you keep at it. This product is great value with its low price, and the size means that it lasts about a month with every day use.

        If you want to make a difference to the look of your cellulite, without having expensive salon treatments, try this product!

        Bye Bye cellulite!

        Cellulite is a word that many women fear, lots of women with different age groups suffer from that dreadful word, cellulite. Mostly women are the ones who suffer but some men do have them too but in different places.

        When you hear the word cellulite the first thing comes to your mind is excess weight but you don't have to be overweight to have cellulite; slim people can have cellulite too. There are many factors which lead to cellulite like a poor diet, lack of exercise and an inactive lifestyle. All of the previously listed affect the skin negatively.

        I have a healthy weight compared to my age, height, sex and build and my body is well toned even after having three kids. However, I do have cellulite around my hips ever since I was a teen. They are not that bad and they look perfectly fine when I am dressed as it does not show under my clothes, however my cellulite still annoys me. Having dimples on my thighs is one thing and the rough texture of my skin, especially my thighs, is another. The texture of my skin was definitely different as it was slightly less elastic.

        == Nivea Good Bye Cellulite Gel-Cream ==

        To be honest I never believed in quick solutions, I have always been uncertain about anti-cellulite treatments. I have tried a couple of very expensive products and none of them worked so I decided not to waste a penny on such products however, a friend of mine who lost over 3 stones and nearly cellulite free thighs decided to share her little secret with me. She even gave me a tube of Nivea Good Bye cellulite to try so eventually I have nothing to lose! I heard about it and I saw it before but as I said before I refrained from buying such products but I was motivated by my friend's results.

        == Nivea's claim ==

        _NIVEA Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite without the need for extra massage. Proven results after 4 weeks of usage_

        == How does it work? ==

        According to their website, there are two main ACTIVE ingredients that work perfectly hand in hand. They included natural lotus extract and L Carnitine. Lotus extracts help reduce the formation of new fat cells and speed the process of the decomposition of fat while L Carnitine is naturally found in the skin. It's an Amino acid that can help transport fatty acids into muscle cells for energy products.

        == The packaging ==

        Nivea Good Bye cellulite comes in a soft pale blue plastic tube. The gel-cream is a part of the Nivea body department so you can see the Nivea logo on the top of the squashy tube. The name of the product is on the middle of the tube and a shadow of a woman wearing a bikini jumping in the air is on the front. The rear of the tub is full of very useful information about their innovation.

        The tube is secured with a dark blue plastic cap which is easy to open. The tube is stored in a white cardboard box and again the box is rich with information about cellulite and other useful things.

        == What's inside the tube? ==

        After reading their claim, I had high hopes and started to think that maybe it will work. According to their website again they said that 62% of women agree that this product can visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite in 4 weeks and the percentage of woman agreeing are getting higher after 8 weeks.

        I gently squeezed the tube to secrete the gel which was light and a tad runny. It reminded me of Nivea shaving gel that my husband uses. Colour wise it was pale blue (aqua blue). The smell was the one main element which caught my attention the most. I loved the smell; it was fresh and energizing. It was very distinctive in fact it was a lot different than the usual Nivea fragrance.

        == Ingredients - just in case ==

        Aqua, Alcohol Denat., Cyclomethicone, Glycerin, Carnitine, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Chondrus Crispus, Sodium Polyacrylate, Sodium Carbomer, Dimethiconol, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, Citral, Parfum, CI 42090

        == How to apply ==

        As I was advised before, any cellulite treatment works better after a hot shower and it's even better if you stimulate the problem when you are showering by brushing it or massaging it.

        Squeeze the needed amounts onto your problematic area; it can be your thighs, stomach or the "derriere". First, smooth it out onto your skin and then comes the most important part, which is massaging it gently with your fingers in circular motions to increase blood circulation. You can do it with your fingers or by using a special cellulite brush that I bought from Amazon. Massage it until it is completely dissolved. You can apply it daily but they did not mention how many times you can use it. Personally I used it twice a day, morning and evening.

        == My Experience ==

        When I first applied the gel cream it felt "very cold" against my warm skin. It was as if it was taken out from the fridge. The gel was easy to spread as it contacted the skin and as a result on the method explained above, it dissolved quickly. I was surprised to learn that the gel left some oily residue, however it did not last for long as it also dissolved into my skin. I first rubbed it into my skin using my fingers with short circular motions until it completely disappeared and the process took a good 20 minutes. I took my time not because the gel-cream took time to dissolve but because I usually get carried away with massaging, it is something which does not bore me. I realised later that the cool gel- cream formula was helpful because the temporary cooling effect helped increasing the blood circulation.

        I assume my skin was slightly reddish from the kneading and rubbing of my skin but the redness disappeared a few minutes after I was done. My skin didn't itch or feel any discomfort; there was only a minor tingling sensation that didn't irritate me at all. Actually my skin felt very soft, slightly tighter and smelled really good.
        The only disadvantage is that it leaves your skin a touch sticky, it's not horribly sticky or unpleasant but you can feel that there is still something on your skin.

        == Results ==

        I used it dutifully every day; twice a day combined with some exercise, mainly walking, for over 8 months now coming to the end of my 4th and last tube. I can honestly say that I'm very satisfied with the results and I'm now a lot happier with my curves. My thighs are softer, rounder and less dimpled for sure. I won't say that they are 100% gone but the appearance of the cellulite definitely reduced and my skin was more toned, hydrated and elastic.

        As a final result; yes it worked for me but it took up a lot of sweat and elbow grease to get those results. It took me a good 8 months to get what I wanted using 4 tubes, so I only paid less than £30 because one of them was given to me by my friend as previously mentioned. I had the desirable results but please bear in mind it's not magic you need to combine it with a well- balanced diet and you need exercise in moderation.

        Nivea Good Bye Cellulite is a treatment that is convenient, safe and effective I'm more than happy to recommend it and this time Nivea fulfilled their promise and I'm giving it 4.5 stars but it has to be 4 stars here because there is no half.
        == Now you must be asking what next? ==

        === I say MAINTENANCE ===

        As with many treatments, maintenance is the main key to keeping you free of the dreaded cellulite and preventing them from creeping back in.

        Nobody wants short term or temporary solutions do they now? You certainly don't want to waste your hard earned money on anti-cellulite treatments forever so to keep your good results and maintain your figure you need to work harder and stay away from your old bad habits. Eat a healthy balanced diet, stay active by exercising regularly and detox from time to time to clean your system from toxins.

        == Prices and availability==

        Nivea Good Bye cellulite Gel-Cream is widely available in pharmacies, supermarkets and high street shops. You can buy it online too. The prices are from £8.99-13.99 for 200ml tube, the cheapest is from Amazon.
        I would like to point that it's also available as a serum entitled Nivea Good bye cellulite 10 day serum for quicker and faster results.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Waste of money.

          I suffer from cellulite and have done since I was 14/15. My cellulite isn't your average cellulite, it is awful, it travels all around the top half of my legs, especially on my bum.

          I was in Superdrug and seen this, I remembered reading great reviews about it online, so I picked it up and took it to the till. For around 8-10 pound I thought I got a bargain, the bottle is 200ml which is a lot, there had been lots of hype over it, so I was pretty happy.

          The bottle is light blue and has instructions wrote on the back. To use open up the lid and squeeze.
          Goodbye Cellulite claims it is suitable for any age, it also says that it is proven to make a difference to your cellulite if you use it regularly for 4 weeks.

          I read the instructions and it just said to smooth over all problem areas, i squeezed the gel out onto my hand, it is very nice smelling, really fresh and it is a aqua blue colour. I smoothed and massaged this over the top half of my legs, I only used a little blob, and that was enough for one half of a leg. I had to wait around 5 minutes until my legs dried fully, even after they had dried they felt very sticky.

          After 1 week of using this every night I didn't notice any difference. A month later there was still no difference in my cellulite. The only thing this did for me was make my legs feel a lot softer. So I stopped using this all together.

          Because this did nothing for me, I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe if you have barely any cellulite it would work better, since they claim it has been proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A good aid to reducing cellulite, best combined with a healthy lifestyle.

          I have recently lost a stone through exercise (whilst training for a 5k Race for Life) and cutting down on unhealthy foods but my stubborn cellulite has largely resisted the impact of my zealous lifestyle changes!!

          I saw this gel-cream in Boots and despite knowing deep down that I was probably allowing myself to be taken in by the hype I added it to my basket but paid for it with my Boots points so that I did not feel too bad!

          THE HYPE:

          This gel-cream contains lotus extract and L-carnitine and according to those boffins in the Nivea Laboratories these two active ingredients when combined together make a great cellulite busting team and you don't have to spend ages massaging it in to get the results you want!

          On the back of the pale blue tube Nivea states that 'after 2 weeks 88% of women confirmed that the gel makes their skin more beautiful' and that their skin 'is noticeably toned and smooth'. This claim came after 212 women tested it. Then 'After 3 weeks the signs of cellulite on the skin are visibly reduced even without extra massage'. This claim resulted from testing only 45 women. I was a bit sceptical as to why there was only a smaller number of women tested on for the second claim as the actual reduction of cellulite is what we are after - why did they not test on a couple of hundred like in the previous test? - hmm.

          Anyway, putting my scepticism aside, I started to use the gel once a day, particularly on my buttocks and the outer thighs as this is where the dimples show up the most.

          The gel, cream is pale blue and easily dispensed through the non-drip dispenser at the bottom of the tube which has a flip top lid - the best way to dispense product without wastage. It doesn't have a recycle sign on the tube and I often drop a star just for that! It has a subtle, pleasantly fresh smell and although it says you don't need extra massage it did take a minute or so to rub the product in completely so that there was no dampness or residue left on the skin. It is quite runny and more like a gel than a cream but goes on easily and you don't need to use too much to get good coverage of the area you want to treat.

          THE RESULTS:

          I have been using this product for two weeks although I must say I am one of those people who start off enthusiastically, applying religiously and then as time goes on end up missing the odd day of application. I usually apply of a night so it gets to work over night and sometimes I am just too tired to do it. However, despite this I did notice a difference actually within a week whereby the skin felt firmer and the cellulite did look a tiny bit reduced with the skin looking more smooth. After two weeks I can say there is definitely a slight difference. I am not saying that my cellulite has gone completely but there is an improvement and I am hoping that with continued use this will continue to improve the look of my cellulite even more although I don't believe any cream can completely banish it but time will tell.

          I also believe that my training, drinking more water and eating more healthily has probably played a part in the reduction too so see the gel as an additional aid to the problem of cellulite rather than a remedy in itself.

          I bought this product from Boots for around £10-11 so it is not cheap but if you use it properly and regularly you should see some results over time. Also Boots are currently doing a 3 for 2 offer on many body and facial products so if you need other things you could always scoop this up as part of that deal.

          Happy cellulite busting and thanks for reading. x

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A gel which promises to reduce the appearance of the dreaded cellulite.

          Almost 90% of women suffer from cellulite, despite what countless pictures of celebrities looking perfect often leads you to believe. The bad news is that you can't get rid of cellulite permanently, but you can do things to greatly minimise its appearance.

          Cellulite is usually found on the thighs and bottom. It makes your skin look dimpled and uneven and can affect your self confidence greatly, especially when the summer months are approaching. It occurs when pockets of fat become enlarged and group together which is not a very nice thought. Cellulite can be found on women of all sizes and its cause, though unknown for certain, is generally attributed to genes, estrogen, a poor diet and a lack of exercise.

          One of the better Cellulite products that I have tried is Goodbye Cellulite Gel cream by Nivea. I bought mine because it was on offer for £5 but it usually costs nearer to £10. It is available in Boots, Lloyds, most supermarkets and online.

          The packaging is fairly eye-catching and the product is encased with a baby blue plastic bottle with a deep blue lid which you click open in order to access the product. The formula is a bright blue colour that spreads out into a clear gel when applied on to the skin. It smells clean and fresh, if a little medicinal.

          The product promises to visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite without the need for extra massaging. It claims that it will make your skin smoother and give it a more toned appearance within a few weeks of daily usage.

          So how does it work? According to Nivea, they have discovered a key ingredient which has been shown to reduce the formulation of fat cells and which causes the fat cells that are already lingering your thighs to break down into more even components and hence given you smoother skin. The key ingredient is Natural L Carnitine which is actually a substance that can already be found in your body and is involved in fat metabolism. It also contains Lotus extract.

          You are told to massage the gel onto any problem areas that you may have once or twice a day. I do it religiously each morning and then again before I go to bed. It definitely makes your skin smoother and softer, and my cellulite is far less obvious to me. I've also noticed that if I don't use it for a few days when I have run out, that the cellulite becomes noticeable again so it is not a long lasting solution.

          The gel is incredibly cool on the skin and is absorbed quickly and completely so there is no stickiness left on the skin. This product is particularly nice to use on a hot day or when on your holiday as it cools you down. On the flip side, you may need motivation to apply it on a good winter's night.

          When you massage the gel into the skin, you are actually boosting your circulation as well as helping to remove the fat cells that are grouping together. So the actual action of using this product helps to reduce cellulite, as would any moisturiser you massaged into your skin.

          All in all, I am a massive fan of this product. It has made my skin softer and smoother and with continued use has made my cellulite less noticeable. It is fairly pricey but long lasting. It is simple to use, non sticky and does not make a mess. Thank you Nivea!

            A beach body must have

            Im off on holiday in 2 weeks! I tried on my bikini last week, and it was not a pretty sight. I have developed some 'orange peel' skin around my bum and tum! Still in shock from the 'orange peel' revelations, I took myself off to my local pharmacy, and searched the shelves for some sort of wonder potion.

            There wasn't much to pick from, so I opted for Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite, and at £10.09, I thought the price was quite good too.

            As soon as I got home I could not wait to use it. Although it would be easy just to use a cream and hope for the best, I also put in a bit of work myself. I started drinking lots of water straight away, and also used a body brush on the 'dimpled' skin, and whilst in the shower I did plenty of exfoliating.

            What exactly is a Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite:

            Nivea Goodbye Cellulite gel-cream has been designed to boost circulation in problem areas and hydrate your skin. The unique l-carnitine ingredient moisturises and helps tighten the skin, giving it a smoother, more toned look.

            Nivea Goodbye Cellulite gel contains L-carnitine, a substance naturally present in the skin. It is known to be involved in fat metabolism supporting the conversion of fat components into energy. This gel-cream formula has a cooling effect which leads to an activation of blood circulation in the area, whilst added moisturisers help ensure that skin feels smooth and soft. Used regularly on problem areas, Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite gives visible results in just 4 weeks.

            What did I think:

            I have been using it now for over a week, and I already have noticed great results. The cellulite on my tummy has almost disappeared, and my bum is looking good too. But like I said before , I have been proactive myself - water, body brushing, exfolitating and a little bit of exercise. I am not sure the gel would work on its own, but its definately helping in my quest for smooth toned skin.

            Disadvantages

            Although I am very happy with this, I do find I am breaking out in small blemishs in my tummy, but they are not that big, and they go away fairly quickly, so it's not bothering me that much. Also the texture is a bit sticky, but once it is applied, there is no sticky redisdue after application.

            Overall, I would definately recommend this product, but using it alone may not completely clear the dreaded 'cellulite', so ladies, get the water into you!!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Worth a try but not for me

            Unfortunately I suffer with persistant cellulite despite sticking to a very healthy diet and so am always on the lookout for cellulite reducing lotions and potions. I used this product recently for a few months and found it did improved the sight of my thigh area and a little reduction in cellulite, however I dont know how much of that was down to the lotion or the body brushing & massaging I was doing alongside it. I have to say despite having read its helped other people, Im not massively convinced. Its easy to apply, sinks in well and has a fairly pleasant fragrance, not overpowering and its a decent price for such a cream, but did it do what it says...not really im afraid. But perhaps my cellulite is more stubborn than others. If you have only slight cellulite and can afford it, give it a shot, but not for me. The quest continues....

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Well worth the slightly higher price tag to be able to look and feel good

              The Product

              Nivea Goodbye Cellulite is a 200ml squeezy bottle containing a blue gel like substance that is over time meant to reduce you cellulite.
              The substance itself is a nice consistency, easy to rub in without leaving your hands sticky.
              All you use is a small amount each time, a 3cm x 3cm blob is more than enough, so 200ml lasts you ages.
              A bottle costs just under £10 which is quite pricey for a cream but considering how long it lasts you and most importantly the fact it works- it is well worth the price tag.
              You are supposed to use it once a day but I've been using it just after showers, say 4 times a week and still had good results.

              Results

              Although it isn't instantaneous, this product really does work.
              I saw results after only a few weeks, I used the gel all over my bum and legs and my skin looked noticeably smoother and flatter.
              Even my boyfriend who is usually clueless about these kind of things saw the difference!
              Although the dimples haven't gone completely I'd say they were at least 50% better and thats from only using the product for a couple of months.

              Overall

              I will definetly be buying this product again and think it's a great long term solution to getting rid of cellulite.
              The price is nothing in comparison to the hundreds of pounds people waste on alternative cellulite cures that never work.
              Nivea Goodbye Cellulite really has restored my faith that there are products on the beauty market that actually do what they promise, and I'd be interested on trying out some other Nivea products based on the strength of Goodbye Cellulite's results.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                a great cream that does what it says but it is expensive

                Nivea body good bye cellulite is an anti cellulite smoothing gel cream that is designed to visably reduce the apearance of cellulite on your skin.

                L-carnitine is naturally present in the skin. It is known to be critical to the metabulism of fats and more importantly helps the process turning fat into energy to fuel the body, it is important to keep high levels of this in our skin but unfortunately as our skin ages the levels reduce so nivea have developed this gel cream containing this so that you can rub it directly into the skin to increase the levels and can concentrate it more specifically on the areas you need it the most to reduce the fat build ups causing the celulite.

                This cream is expensive compared to other creams i would normally buy and at just short of £10 the tube only lasted me two weeks but i did notice there was a very slight improvement in my skin and a slight reduction of the celulite so persisted with this and brought another tube of the cream which continued to work so it does reduce the celulite under the skin but is something i only use in the areas needed as it is way too expensive to use as an all over body cream, it took around 6 weeks to realy see the full benefit of this but was worth it in the end.

                It is a very thick cream so goes on to the skin very nicely without making a mess everywhere, the cream is easy to rub into your skin and doesnt take long to dry, i applied it each night before bed and it worked lovely.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  An anti-cellulite gel to reduce the appearance of orange peel thighs, bottoms and tummy's!

                  I've tried a cellulite gel-cream before & after I few weeks I developed a rash so I had to stop using it. I saw this Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream in Boots on special offer so decided to give it a go. I've now been using it for 3-4 weeks and have already noticed the difference!

                  ***WHAT IS NIVEA GOOD-BYE CELLULITE GEL-CREAM?***
                  This Gel-Cream is an anti-cellulite smoothing gel-cream which visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite. (70%) of woman agree. Proven results after 4 weeks usage.

                  ***HOW DOES IT WORK?***
                  L-Carnitine is naturally present in the skin. It is known to be critical to the metabolism of fat and, more specifically, it supports the conversion of fat components into energy. A sufficient amount of L-Carnitine in the skin is, therefore, beneficial. Nivea Research has now made L-Carnitine available in a gel cream: new NIVEA body Good-bye Cellulite. When applied to the skin, this innovative formula helps boost the levels of L-Carnitine.

                  Additionally, this gel cream formula has a cooling effect, which temporarily promotes increased blood circulation. Thus, used regularly, new NIVEA body Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream leads to a visible reduction in the appearance of cellulite on your problem areas. Skin compatibility dermatologically proven.

                  Recommended usage
                  Smooth onto your problem areas - thighs, buttocks and stomach daily.

                  ***PRICE***
                  From Boots this is £9.99, but I got it on special offer at £4.99. This is also available at Superdrug for £9.99 but is also on special offer at £4.99 as well.
                  Packaging

                  You get a tube of 200ml Gel-Cream which stands on its lid and the bottle is a light blue in colour, with ingredients, how it works & recommended usage on the back. This bottle then comes in a white cardboard box with information on it such as how it works, proven results & what cellulite is. The box has a picture of a lady on the front showing off her toned, cellulite free legs!

                  ***THE PRODUCT***
                  The product is a Blue Gel Cream which feels quite wet but not at all sticky! It has a light pleasant fragrance to it. When you rub this into your legs, (or wherever else), it glides and smoothes onto the skin easily and is easily absorbed. It didn't leave my skin feeling dry or sticky. My legs felt smooth and soft.

                  ***SAMPLES***
                  I went to www.Nivea.com and put my name down for a free sample of this product. I received 4 small sachets of this product through the post. This is worth doing if you have sensitive skin as you can determine whether this product is right for you or not.

                  ***THE RESULTS***
                  I only have a tiny bit of cellulite at the backs of my legs which can only been seen when I sit down and cross my legs. I have been using this Gel-Cream for 3-4 weeks every day and have noticed, my cellulite has reduced. My legs feel smooth after application, of the gel cream and after using this for 3-4 weeks my legs feel and look more toned.

                  Obviously exercise also helps reduce cellulite, so don't expect this gel-cream to work complete miracles. I would recommend anyone with cellulite to try this as it's the best cellulite cream I have used and its also gentle on my skin. I also have dry and sensitive skin and this didn't irritate my skin at all! After 4 weeks - the appearance of cellulite is visibly reduced. After 4 weeks - 62% of woman agree. After 8 weeks - 70% of woman agree.

                    Advantages

                    Disadvantages

                    An orange peel feel reducing product.

                    *Introduction*

                    I bought this after seeing various adverts for this product, one of which was in Closer magazine. Like many girls, I'm always looking for that miracle cure that will get rid of cellulite, particularly on my thighs. It had been given 5 stars by the experts so I figured I would give it a go. When I saw an offer in Boots for £4.99 I couldn't resist but buy two.

                    *The Claim*

                    Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite claims to visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite.

                    *Packaging*

                    The Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite gel comes in a 200ml squeezy tube with a lid that flips open. What I like most about the packaging is the silhouette of the firm and toned looking lady. It made me think 'I want that body'. That just means the advertisement guys for this product did their job well or I'm a fool for getting sucked in. It also came in a white box which I found to be a bit of a waste as the tube was more than adequate.

                    *About the Product*

                    On the packaging it tells that the gel contains something called L-Carnitine. This is a substance that is present in our skin. It is known to be crucial to the breaking down of fat and is thus advantageous to skin if an adequate amount is applied. What is also unique about this product is that the gel has a cooling effect which momentarily increases the blood circulation which in turn helps the breakdown of cellulite.

                    *Results*

                    After 4 weeks 62% of women concur and after 8 weeks: 70% of women agree. I am unquestionably in agreement with these women as after 4 weeks I started to notice a difference and after I have continued use of the product, found it is increasingly reduced in orange-peel like texture (thankfully).

                    *Application*

                    It is recommended that you smooth the gel onto your problem areas in particular thighs, bum and stomach on a daily basis. I personally use a small dash, roughly the size of your thumbnail and massage it into the problem areas. You really don't need a lot of it due to the fact that it is a gel and it soaks into your skin swiftly. I massage the gel firmly in small circles in order to rub the gel thoroughly into the skin.

                    *Price and Availability*

                    Nivea Body Goodbya Cellulite is available from stores like Tesco, Superdrug and Boots for £9.78 per 200ml bottle. I think this is quite reasonably priced, although even better if you buy it on a half price deal like I did so keep your eyes peeled. It is usually always in stock so you won't find yourself desperately hunting it down.

                    *My Opinion*

                    I've been using the product for about 4 months now and my cellulite is definitely visibly reduced. I must say I am very impressed.

                    The amount that I use makes the tube last approximately a month. I think that for that reason, the product is excellent value for money, even more so if you have bought it on an offer.

                    Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite has the most beautiful smell. It has a lovely scent, something quite clean and fresh about it. It is great for a feel good sensation when you've just got out of the bath.

                    I also love the smooth and soft feeling that it give to your legs after use (if they aren't stubbly that is). And what I particularly liked about this product is that it didn't leave your hands feeling sticky or tacky after use, unlike a lot of creams and gels I have used in the past.

                    So I say buy this and wave goodbye to your dimpled skin. For me, the cellulite hasn't gone entirely but it has significantly improved the smoothness of my skin, particularly around my thighs and bum. Using this gel has been combined with drinking a lot more water, a healthier diet and exercise so it is hard to tell if the Nivea Body Goodbye Cellulite gel reduced was solely responsible or if it was with the help of other contributing factors.

                    *Would I Recommend This Product?*

                    Yes I would recommend this product but don't think it is a miracle cure because it isn't. It does visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite but isn't instantaneous. If you are willing to give the gel time, you will see results and like me hopefully be pleased with the outcome.

                    *Overall*

                    In conclusion, I would recommend this product. It is affordable and actually does what it promises to. A brilliant purchase in my opinion. Buy it to see for yourself.
