I'm a regular in poundland. OK I admit it. I'm forever buying things that I don't need or duplicating my purchases. My bedroom is jam packed with goodies and occasionally I'll get stuff out and have a bash with it. After seeing some photos of myself at a party a couple of days before Christmas I was shocked at how white I was. I've seen no sun this year and I have black hair and I'm so goth looking without trying to be! lol My step dad looked at my photo's on my digital camera and said oh dear you'll have to colour your skin in using a PC programme as he reckoned I look like a ghost! lol Anyhow I did that lol However I decided I'm ... I brought this item whilst in Superdrug as it was a third off the normal price. After trying several other tanning moisturisers all without much luck, I thought I would give this a go. Before I continue I will add that I went to Wilkinson's after and saw this item for £1 less than Superdrug!! So go there first! The bottle looks nice and inviting so I was looking forward to trying it. I had a shower and scrubbed myself soft all ready for application. The smell is putrid! I really struggled to apply it. I was concerned that there was something wrong with the bottle as it was so awful! I managed to apply it the best I could and I stank all night!! ... Read the complete review

I am a fair skinned, freckly red head so, when I used to sunbathe, all I would get was lots more freckles and sunburn! Of course nowadays I have more sense (allegedly) and I don’t actually sunbathe and I always use sunscreen when I go out in hot sun. So I have never experienced a suntan as such. I even had a nickname at work of ‘milk bottle calves’ given to me when I used to wear summer dresses with no tights and my white legs would be sticking out beneath the hem! I had seen various products advertised which would allegedly give me a light suntan building up over a few days, although I have to say that I wasn’t convinced that any of these products ... As a teenager in the '60s, I well remember the first sunless tanning lotion. Introduced by Coppertone, it was called 'Quick Tan' (QT for short). The results were dreadful -and my mother remarked that they weren't much better than those resulting from her efforts with diluted gravy browning which she slavishly smeared on her nylon-less wartime legs. Women are perverse. Flat chested, wavy haired, pale skinned maidens will always hanker for after large bosoms, straight hair or a tanned skin. All three can be achieved these days and I, like millions of other women, have been busy in the on-going quest for the perfect product which gives a realistic, ... Read the complete review

Well it's getting to that time of year again, spring has sprung and I don't know about the rest of the world but up here in Sunny Scotland we've had some fantasticly Warm days. Days that would have justified wearing a skirt to work or shorts and t-shirts in the evening. The one thing that puts me of wearing these sorts of clothes is how pale my skin is after the long cold winter, so I set about looking for a solution until I can build up some colour again and I came across Nivea Body Sunkissed skin, a firming gradual tan lotion and I thought to myself - why not, I'll give it a go. Now I've always been a bit reluctant to use self tanning products because normally you end ... Read the complete review
