I am pretty loyal to dove liquid handwash, and it is usually the norm in both the downstairs toilet and main bathroom, however, like most people I can be swayed when I see a good offer on another handwash, and this is exactly what happened on a visit to Tesco a while ago.

Tesco were selling Nivea handwashes as buy one get one free for £1.75, so I bought two different kinds - Nivea Honey and Oil handwash, and Nivea Cashmere Moments, which I am reviewing, since this is the one I am currently using.

This liquid handwah comes in a 250ml bottle, with a blue plastic lid. It claims to be a 'mild' liquid handwash, which reassured me that this would probably be okay for my hands which are quite sensitive. I have used other Nivea products previously, and for the most part found them not to have any negatvie effect on my skin.

On the front of this handwash, it claims to have 'cashmere proteins and orchis scent'. The cashmere extracts apparently help prevent dryness, giving you 'soft and supple skin everyday'.

This liquid comes out as a white soap, which easily forms a lather when washing your hands. There is only a very faint scent when you are using it, and I don't find that the fragrance stays on my hands after washing. I do however feel that my hands are clean, and soft. Even though I tend to have quite oily skin, I do get some dryness beetwen my thumb and finger occassionally, and I found that whilst using this handwash, there was no dryness on that part of my hand, and rather is was soft and smooth.

As I said, I am a fan of dove products, however, should this product be of offer again, I think I will definitely purchase it. I am looking forward to trying the honey and oil nivea handwash that I bought along with this cashmere moments one, and hope that it will be as effective.

I would highly recommend this handwash, particularly if it is on offer, maiking it quite reasonable and affordable. My hands really do feel softer and smoother from using this, as well as feeling clean and fresh, so in this case, this handwash really does do exactly what is says on the tin!
