I'm always on the look out for new and exiting shower gels and foams to liven up the bathroom and I have a strong leaning towards luxurious sounding products so Nivea Cashmere Moments hit the spot right away.

It promised a silky shower cream with cashmere extract and orchid blossom leaves your skin as soft and smooth as cashmere. I like the fact that it was pH balanced and dermatologically tested as I'm a sensitive soul and not everything suits my skin.

It comes in a lovely rounded bottle with a blue lid, although I think they have recently changed their packaging to include a flip top rather than a detachable lid. The cream is sort of pearlescent in colour and you can smell the scent of the orchid blossom straight away along with a hint of fresh laundry in there. It costs around £1.70 for 250ml which will last you a long time.

It lathers up nicely for a cream formula if you use it with a shower puff and you don't need too much to get good results. It feels smooth, silky and comforting on your skin and rinses off with ease.

You can feel the effects once your skin is dry, it feels smoother and softer and not at all dry or tight (assume there are skin conditioners in the formula also). It's great for dry or sensitive bodies and the luxurious scent lingers for ages after.

It's a really nice everyday shower cream with a little bit of luxury
