Advantages: Cheap, lovely smell, conditions well

Disadvantages: Takes forever to absorb

I have to have hand cream in my handbag. I think I have mild OCD which, for me means, I have to "know" that my hands are clean. This will include washing my hands constantly or at least putting hand cream on so that it smells like they're clean.

I picked this up from my local Boots because at a price that was approximately £2, it was the cheapest nicest smelling hand cream available.

Tube
The cream comes in a tube of 100ml. Upon a quick sweep of the Boots hand cream section, I found this to be one of the larger tubes so partnered with the price, good value for money.

Smell
It has a very distinctive Nivea smell. Unlike Dove, for instance, Nivea tends to stick with the same floral, almost baby cream smell for all their products. Personally, I like this a lot but other people may find this quite boring.

Application
This hand cream is a lot thicker than the other hand creams on the market. Actually, I find most Nivea products quite thick. Because of this it can be difficult to absorb into the skin, requiring a couple more rubs. I wouldn't describe this as greasy, because it appears too thick to even make your hands slippery. However, when it is absorbed, the skin feels really soft and smooth. The cream is so good at conditioning the skin that when I go and wash my hands about one hour later, my hands still feels soft, without needing a top up.

One thing though, I ran out of body lotion once and picked this up to put on the dry skin on my shins. It took forever to blend into the skin because the surface area was so much bigger than my hands! OK, fair enough, I wasn't suppose to use it anywhere else but my hands, but it looks like this product is best used for hands only, otherwise you'll be sitting there forever rubbing at your skin!

Overall:
Everything about this hand cream is great - the price is cheap, you get a bigger tube than the other hand creams, the smell is lovely and, most important of all, it conditions your skin, leaving it baby soft and smooth!

Summary: Great price for great hand cream!

Ah righto! I always right my reviews on Word first so I can check it and then cut and paste. It looks like the function doesn't cut and paste over the formatting. Will update! Thanks for letting me know!

Some spacing between the paragraphs would make this review much easier to read x
