Advantages: Absorbs fast, nice smell, lasts ages
Disadvantages: can be quite expensive, doesn't always come out
I have heard a few comments about this product not being too good, that really surprised me, I must say. I have been using Nivea Moisturising Body Spray for about 8 months now, and I think it's very good.I have very dry skin especially on my legs and it has helped it to feel normal again. I first discovered this product at my local Body Shop and I think at the time it was on offer for £2.99, nowadays I'm sure some shops sell it for £5.19. That is a bit steep I would say, but because I like it so much I probably would pay that price. *The Product* The lotion which is very watery, comes in a white plastic bottle, with a blue lid. Mine still has "New" written on the top of it. It is a decent 150 ml size, and it does last ages. Maybe that's because it's so watery you seem to get more. Don't let the consistency put you off, as it does work. I find a couple of squirts moisturises my skin and as I said before, I do have very dry skin. *Application* Shake before use, then just squirt the bottle to wherever you want to be moisturised and you will find only a few drops of the white liquid will come out. Some people have a problem with this, but personally I think it's better then you can always squirt more if needed. I think theres nothing worse, than too much coming out, then you are left with excess lotion to rub in. The odd occasion,I have struggled to get the lotion out, depending what angle I am squirting it at, (no I wasn't doing the Karma Sutra at the same time). But then I just squirt some onto my hand, then apply to the chosen area. *Fragrance* The lotion rubs in very well, I don't find it too greasy at all. If it was, I wouldn't use it, I like a lotion that's quick to absorb. The smell is lovely too. Anyone who has smelt Nivea before, will know how nice it smells. Anyone who hasn't then, I'm afraid it's a bit difficult to
describe. It's a clean fresh smell, rather like a baby lotion, reminds me of a talcum powder smell. The product contains Natural Caring Lips, whatever they are. I'm not up on ingredients etc. *Results* I am very pleased with the results from this product. I will definetly recommend it. My skin has become more moisturised, it's not as tight as it used to be. My skin is also quite sensitive, and it didn't irritate it at all. It's quite a soothing lotion. I like the application process, it's very easy to use, and also absorbs really fast. It lasts ages, I use it about twice a week and have had it for over 8 months now. I think paying £2.99 is great value. Still I would pay £5.19 if I had to. Nivea products are made by BDF, Beiersdorf UK Ltd. Milton Keynes MK14 5LS or Beiersdorf AG Hamburg I haven't found a website yet, but if anybody knows of one, please let me know. I buy most of my products from The Bodyshop or Superdrug.
