After nearly choking when I used spray on deodorants, I decided to go back to using roll-ons. I don't have a particular preference when it comes to deodorants but I do like to choose something different everytime I buy a new one. This one appealed to me because it looked like it would be soothing on my skin but I wasn't sure if it could be both soothing and keep me clean at the same time. The packaging was another thing that appealed to me as I hadn't really seen another roll-on packaged like this one. It comes in a small glass bottle with a round topped white screw on lid. Both the lid and the see-through label have a lovely pink shine to them which you see ... Read the complete review

With Nivea Pearl Beauty deodorant you have the option of eiher a roll on or spray deodorant, liking hot weather I tend to opt for the spray option. I tend to keep one of these in my gym bag as it is a low cost option for when I have showered after a work out as it is an excellent anti perspirant protection and the 150 ml spray version lasts for a good month or more with me using it most days. I do find it very soft and gentle and it is good on the couple of occasions when I have shaved rather than getting a leg wax. It is also long lastig and certainly will last me after a morning workout until I shower again in the evening. It has ... Read the complete review

I have never suffered with sweaty armpits, but perhaps that is because I have always religiously used an anti-perspirant after each shower or bath. I have always preferred roll-ons to aerosol versions as I find that they last longer on the bathroom shelf, which I would guess is due to the fact that they allow you to be more accurate in your application. Anyway, for years I used men's roll-on anti-perspirants as I found that they were the only ones which retained their original smell throughout the day. Although I don't seem to suffer from any moisture in my armpit area, they are still one of the warmest parts of the body, and I have found that many women's ... Read the complete review

I usually use spray on deodorant but after getting fed up of white marks on my tops and nearly choking on the fumes due to being a bit liberal with the spraying I decided I would try a roll on. I'd never really liked the idea of them as I thought they didn't seem very hygienic but decided to give them a go. My first encounter with a Tesco own brand converted me but the smell wasn't very nice so whilst browsing the shelves I spotted Nivea 'Pearl Beauty' on offer at only 20p more than Tesco's own brand so I decided to give it a go. The deodorant itself is a pearly white colour and is encased in a thick glass bottle. I think this packaging gives it a ... Read the complete review

I needed a travel size deodorant for a recent trip, and picked up a handbag sized Nivea Aerosol. It was great! A good all-rounder. Do you think I could remember where I bought it? No Do you think I could find a full sized version? No, but I found a roll-on version. Guess it keeps Mr M happy anyway. And me, as it turns out. The bottle/tub is pretty heavy, and feels similar to glass. I've checked the label, but it doesn't say anywhere what the container is made from. It's of traditional design, so has the roller ball at the top. The scent is fresh, a bit girly but not overly floral. It smells like deodorant I guess. ... Read the complete review
