Advantages: So easy to use, easily absorbed into your skin, and is moisturising!

Disadvantages: Expensive, but all sun creams are and it's cheaper than the Garnier range.

So it seems the sun is finally here in Britain and I hope you are all wearing your sun screen! There are alot of brands out there to choose from, a quick glance in Boots and you can be left confused by how many brands there are and the different prices. Oh and they don't come cheap! You expect to pay around £10 for a bottle of sun screen, whatever brand, and the shops make you feel like you're getting a bargain by using Buy One Get One Free offers on these, which is annoying because most of the time you only need the one bottle (unless you're also buying for other people who requires different SPF's!)

My sun screen of choice each year is the Nivea Moisturising Sun Spray. I've been using this brand for the past few years and it's the one for me. You will notice the Nivea suncare range in any shop with it's bold blue and orange colour scheme which certainly stands out. Most shops do this range on Buy One Get One Free, Boots for instance have this offer on at the moment. It costs £11.99 for a 200ml bottle, but with this offer you get 2 bottles for that price. When looking in Boots and comparing the Nivea range to the Garnier range this is a few quid cheaper, and the Boots own brand range is only £2 pound cheaper so it's quite reasonably priced!

They have SPF6, SPF10, SPF15, SPF20, SPF30 AND SPF50, so there is a range for everyone here. Pesonally, I'm one of those fair skinned people who don't tan but turn a horrible shade of red before going white again. I always opt for a bottle of the factor 20 and 30, using 30 on the more rarer hot days we might get here. I'm also going to Prague this month and I'm unsure how the weather might be here so it's best to be prepared.
The Nivea suncae range also do a huge range of After Sun and Children's poducts so there will be something for all the family here.
I should point out the Nivea spray is EU Compliant and has a 4 star UVA rating, making this a 'Superior' product.

So, why do I like the Nivea Sun Spray so much? Well firstly, it's very simple to apply. No squeezing out a runny liquid here, you simply just spray onto the various parts of your skin and rub it in. It's not sticky at all and rub's in nicely and feels very moisturising! It contains vitamin E which is great for the skin, you'll usually find this in moisturising creams anyway. It doesn't stink too badly, but I do like the smell of sun screen so it's nice enough. The cream absorbs into your skin easily and has a water resistant formula.

It's recommend to apply 15 minutes before going into the sun, and then re-apply every 1-2 hours. I usually find I need to re-apply every couple of hours, but this is just in the North East of England and you probably need to re-apply more often if you're in a hot country!
Using this sun spray I don't burn, which is the main point here. I do go ever so slightly brown as well, which is a huge bonus for me as it's so hard for me to tan!

I highly recommend using the Nivea Sun Spray, much easier than the runny squeezy liquid types and it's easily absorbed into the skin without leaving your skin feeling sticky or clammy. I'm off to enjoy the sun using this now :)

Summary: A good sun spray which is easy to use.
