Protect and perfect hand Cream

I like the boots No 7 products and when I spent more than £18 on the products, i was given a free gift of a make up bag filled with goodies, and the hand cream was one of the gifts.

The hand cream will apparently make fine lines on the hands disappear within two weeks and will also encourage age spots to disappear. Apparently, even when you have washed your hands, the cream keeps on working to keep skin and cuticles moisturised and nails strengthened.

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
Although mine is a sample, the larger version of the product is the same but just a bigger version. It comes in a white plastic tube with a screw on/off lid, and instructions and information on the back.

When I unscrew the lid and squeeze a bit of the product out, I find that it is a white cream which isn't especially thick but neither is it so thin that it runs out; the consistency is such that it sits on the hands until rubbed into the skin. It is very lightly scented with a slight floral scent but not overpowering, but it does linger for a while, and because I like the smell, I like to smell my hands!!

It is SPF 15 so although I can't see the sun protection, I assume it's there and hopefully this will help to protect my hands in the sun as well as against the colder weather elements.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...

The hand cream is available online at www.boots.com and in Boots stores. It costs £10 for a tube of the stuff which seems expensive but only a small amount is needed to moisturise hands.

VERDICT...

This is a very good hand cream whcih, when I use it, really does feel as though it is giving my hands a protective covering. The product is absorbed easily and immediately into the skin and leaves no stickiness, and because only a small amount is needed, I don't feel as though my hands are greasy. The hand cream is hypoallergenic, and I certainly have had no adverse reactions to the product nor has Little Miss who likes to apply when i do!

I don't know about fading any brown spots because I don't have any yet, and I can't vouch for the fact that fine lines are reduced because I don't look that closely at every line on my hands. The instructions suggest that it is used every morning and every time hands need extra care, and having used this repeatedly for a couple of weeks now, I have found that my hands are much softer and not dry at all. I also find that even after washing my hands, they don't feel dry, so maybe the hand cream is still working as it promises.

Although I did get this as a freebie, I do like it and will certainly be buying some more.

A recommended hand cream.

Thanks for reading.
