Advantages: Moisturise, hydrate, fragrance, shimmer

Disadvantages: Theyre expensive and you cant eat them

I absolutely love all of Nougat London's bath and body products; Nougat have a very large range of products which are sold in large department stores like John Lewis, Liberty Of London etc; you can also buy quite a lot of their products from online retailers too. I usually just buy my Nougat products online and get them delivered to my house for convenience.

Whenever I use a Nougat product I feel calm, relaxed, and rejuvenated; my skin also feels smooth fragranced and highly moisturised after I use one of their products. Each and every product in their range is of extremely high quality, right down to the actual packaging. Normally in a review I wouldn't talk about the packaging, but in this instance I think it is important to mention it so as you can get an idea of how much quality and thought is put into their range of products.

The Nougat Luxuary Bath Truffles are available in a pack of five and the truffles are supplied in a round cardboard container which has a lovely little ribbon tied to the top of it. On the top of the container it clearly tells us that the contents are Luxuary Bath Truffles and that they are made in England by Nougat Body to Home. The packaging for the truffles isn't overloaded with details, labels and pictures, its just nicely coloured and simplistic looking.

Inside the container there are five Luxuary Bath Truffles in two different colours, I have two creamy coloured ones and three pink coloured ones in my container. As soon as you lift the round lid off of the container you can immediately smell the really creamy Jasmine and Tuberose fragrance, which is Nougats signature scent for most of their products.

The Luxuary Bath Truffles are round and slightly bigger than a Ferrero Rocher chocolate; they have a rough appearance and I think that the cream coloured ones look like those sponge snowball cakes which are covered in icing and desiccated coconut. I was expecting the truffles to feel quite hard like a bath bomb, but they feel quite soft like soap. The truffles have shimmer particles mixed through them which dissolve in the bath and leave a slightly shimmered appearance on your skin. The pink bath truffles have a lilac coloured shimmer through them and the cream coloured truffles have a silvery coloured shimmer mixed through them.

When using the bath truffles you can either use a full one or half of one; just what ever you prefer. I just use half of a truffle because it is just the same as using a full one and it means that the truffles last me longer and I don't spend as much money on them. When using the truffles you just drop them into your bath and allow them to slowly melt into the water. I prefer to add the truffles to the bath water a few minutes before I get into it; so as they can fully dissolve.

When the truffles are melting in the bath water you will notice that the water changes to a milky colour. You can also notice some tiny shimmer particles floating on the waters surface and these are surrounded with little pools of oil. The oil which floats on the surface of the water is from the bath truffles and is because they contain cocoa butter. The fragrance from the bath truffles is gorgeous and it fragrances the bathroom and my skin. The fragrance is gorgeous and smells just like all of Nougats other Jasmine and Tuberose scented products; although the scent from the bath truffles isn't as strong as the others, this is probably their most subtle fragranced products, but it is still one of my favourites from their range.

The fragrant aroma from the bath truffles is heavenly; it has a very rich creamy aroma which is complimented with a few other fragrances. The creamy aroma is complimented with a delicate Jasmine and Tuberose floral undertone, which is very subtle and delicate. The subtle floral tone also has a rich musky Cedarwood and sandalwood undertone which complimented with the addition of vanilla and peach. The scent is extremely feminine, subtle and relaxing, its not too floral, musky or fussy, the fragrance notes are balanced perfectly and each note compliments the other.

The bath truffles react with the steam from the water and fill the bathroom with the gorgeous Jasmine and Tuberose aroma which lingers in the air for about an hour or so before it fades. After bathing the scent from the bath truffles lingers on my skin for two hours or so before it gently fades away. It doesn't leave a very strong scent on your skin so there's no need to worry about it overpowering any perfumes or deodorants you are going to be wearing. Some of the shimmer particles which were floating on the surface of the bath water transferred onto my skin giving it a subtle shimmered glow.

My skin felt really smooth and silky after I bathed in the water full of bath truffles and this is most probably because of the cocoa butter in them. Cocoa butter moisturises, hydrates and protects your skin.

I highly recommend trying the Nougat Luxuary Bath Truffles because they smell great, moisturise and hydrate your skin and leave a very subtle shimmered appearance on your skin. There's only one bad thing about the truffles and that is the fact that they cost £24 for five of them. Although if you half them like I do then you will get ten uses out of them instead of five.

Nougat London's products contain the finest luxury ingredients, and none of their products or ingredients are tested on animals. If you like the sound of the Luxuary Bath Truffles then you can purchase them online from www.bathandunwind.com for the price of £24 (5 x 17g)
