Advantages: smells heavenly, relaxes and pampers
Disadvantages: may be a little too expensive for some
I absolutely love all of Nougat London's bath and body products; Nougat have a very large range of products which are sold in large department stores like John Lewis, Liberty Of London etc; you can also buy quite a lot of their products from online retailers too. I usually just buy my Nougat products online and get them delivered to my house for convenience.
Whenever I use a Nougat product I feel calm, relaxed, and rejuvenated; my skin also feels smooth fragranced and highly moisturised after I use one of their products. Each and every product in their range is of extremely high quality, right down to the actual packaging. Normally in a review I wouldn't talk about the packaging, but in this instance I think it is important to mention it so as you can get an idea of how much quality and thought is put into their range of products.
The Nougat Sensuous Bath Oil is fantastic, it costs a lot more than your average bath oil but for quality paying that bit more is really worth it. The Sensuous Bath Oil is supplied in a glass decanter which also has a glass stopper on top. Around the neck of the bottle there are five sparkling crystals attached, three are clear and two are a light baby pink. The crystals around the neck of the decanter make it look gorgeous, feminine and expensive; well it is an expensive product but the crystals make it look a lot more luxurious and expensive than it is.
On the front of the decanter there is a small cream coloured sticker, which tells us this particular product is indeed made by Nougat Body to Home. It also states that the product is a Sensuous Bath Oil and is made in England.
The oil inside the decanter is clearly visible, and is a trio of colours which are layered upon one another. The oil at the base of the decanter is a gorgeous rose pink colour which is translucent. The middle layer of oil is a much darker shade of pink which has a rather thick and creamy appearance. Finally the top layer of the oil is a translucent off white colour which has a slightly creamy appearance.
As soon as you lift the glass stopper off the decanter the fragrance is heavenly, it releases a deep, creamy, floral scent which has a slightly musky and fruity undertone. To use the Bath Oil you have to shake the bottle so as the trio of oils combine, then you pour as little or as much as you like in your bath. When you shake the oils to combine them the colour of the liquid changes to a deep creamy pink; but after about 20 minutes or so the oils separate again and form the trio of layers.
When I pour the oil into my bath the steam from the water reacts with the scent from the bath oil and fills the bathroom with a gorgeous almost heavenly scent which lingers in the air for hours. It is almost like an air freshener because of the length of time the scent lingers in the air.
The bath oil mixes with the water a little and changes it to a slightly creamy colour; you can also notice a small amount of the oil floating on the surface of the water. Whilst in the bath surrounded by the warmth of the water and the fragrant aroma of the bath oil, I feel extremely relaxed. The fragrant aroma of the bath oil is heavenly; it has a very rich creamy aroma which is complimented with a few other fragrances. The creamy aroma is complimented with a delicate Jasmine and Tuberose floral undertone, which is very subtle and delicate. The subtle floral tone also has a rich musky Cedarwood and sandalwood undertone which complimented with the addition of vanilla and peach. The scent is extremely feminine, subtle and relaxing, its not too floral, musky or fussy, the fragrance notes are balanced perfectly and each note compliments the other.
After bathing the fragrance of the oil lingers on my skin, leaving it feeling lightly fragranced, moisturised and soft. The aroma of the oil lasts on my skin for quite a long time, I would say that the aroma lasts for about four or five hours maybe slightly longer. The bath oil doesn't leave a greasy or oily feeling on my skin; it leaves it feeling really smooth as if I have just applied moisturiser.
I highly recommend Nougat Sensuous Bath Oil because it smells fantastic and makes you feel really pampered and relaxed. Their products may be a little expensive but they're worth it. The Nougat London Sensuous Bath Oil is available in a 500ml glass decanter and costs £22; I am currently using my third bottle of it. When my other two bottles (decanters) were finished I rinsed them out and peeled off the label and then filled them with coloured sand and placed them in my bathroom.
Nougat London's products contain the finest luxury ingredients, and none of their products or ingredients are tested on animals.
If you like the sound of this bath oil then you can purchase it online from www.bathandunwind.com for the price of £22 (500ml glass decanter).
