Advantages: Soothing, quite good results, harmless, does not contain cortisone.

Disadvantages: The results did not last for very long.

A doctor prescribed Oilatum for my Eczema Scrotum (itchy pink patches, dries out & gets scaly) along with using almond oil moisturizing soaps. It worked very well for like 2 weeks, felt good, less itch, those pink patches lightened a lot. Now we know that Eczema has a "moody" symptom, so the thing came back like it gained some sort of resistance. Yet, I'm still using it as it does sooth the groins. Try it, it may work out better for you and it is pretty much harmless.

Summary: I would recommend trying it hoping for better results.
