“ Brand: Oriflame / Type: Body Lotion / What it does: Nourishes „
As I have said in some of my previews, I need to have the same-scented body cream and shower gel. Therefore I just had to buy Oriflame Body Lotion with Nourishing Mango & Yoghurt to go with the shower gel.
The body lotion comes in a clear plastic bottle with an orange screw lid at the top. At the beginning, it is easy to get the lotion out but as you use it more, it becomes increasingly difficult. When there wasn't much left in the bottle, I encountered some problems with getting the leftover lotion out. It was quite annoying for me as I don't like wasting things (no matter whether they are cosmetics or foods) unless I really need to.
The body lotion has a milky pale orange colour. Its texture isn't runny but it isn't very thick either - I would say it is just right. It has a slightly artificial, but still quite nice scent of mango (perhaps mango yoghurt) which stays on your skin for a couple of hours (not a very long period of time but still longer than the scent of the shower gel). It doesn't spread around the bathroom like other body lotions (for example, The Body Shop) but you can still smell some time after applying, it just isn't very intense.
The skin absorbs this body lotion very quickly. After a couple of days of using it, my skin became softer and it is definitely better-nourished. You can notice that but at the same time, it hasn't changed its condition drastically. I think it may not work very well for dry skin.
One bottle of 200 ml will last a couple of weeks. It normally costs £5.45 but can be found on offer fairly frequently. Overall, it is a good but not amazing body lotion that is definitely overpriced.
